Re: Bragging Rights
Wayhay - Just got through one of the qualifiers to the final of the $10k BetFred GP Vegas special tournament on 3rd December (along with probably about 1,000,000 others!!) Not overly impressive to most of you, but for me whose biggest win so far is a on $2 STT, I'm quite chuffed!!

Re: Bragging Rights
Nice one boys
I'm never in MTTs so I'll have to make do with my money table wins and at $25 buy in ones even they aren't really big wins - but here's one from last night anyway. I can't put it in the donkey thread cos I won, and I can't put it in the other thread because I played it anything but perfectly Nevertheless: #Game No : 3154764908 ***** Hand History for Game 3154764908 ***** $25 NL Texas Hold'em - Tuesday, December 06, 13:50:20 EDT 2005 Table Table 65127 (6 max) (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 6 Seat 4: yulia18 ( $7.55 ) Seat 5: McDuff8000 ( $32.25 ) Seat 6: kobe08mvp ( $21.95 ) Seat 3: Beanie1984 ( $29.78 ) Seat 1: jorjann ( $24.62 ) Seat 2: crazychane ( $22.50 ) yulia18 posts small blind [$0.10]. McDuff8000 posts big blind [$0.25]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Beanie1984 [ Td Js ] kobe08mvp calls [$0.25]. jorjann folds. crazychane folds. Beanie1984 calls [$0.25]. yulia18 calls [$0.15]. McDuff8000 checks. ** Dealing Flop ** [ Qh, 9c, Ks ] Bingo. Nut straight, and 3 suited. Can't ask for much more than that. yulia18 bets [$0.25]. McDuff8000 folds. kobe08mvp raises [$1]. Hmmm...smells like a top pair for the lad. I'm guessing I should stick in a raise here (?) but my heart had skipped a beat with that flop so I just gave it a call without doing much thinking. Beanie1984 calls [$1]. yulia18 calls [$0.75]. ** Dealing Turn ** [ 6c ] Nice little blank card there...apart from the potential club draw. yulia18 checks. kobe08mvp bets [$4]. Hmmm...I'm beginning to think KQ or K9 perhaps - I hadn't been paying much attention to this chap so couldn't be certain if he raised with pocket pairs or not. Worst case scenario he has something like QcKc and has plenty outs. If he has a set, or a pocket pair, I'm thinking he might struggle to put it down. Infact I haven't got a clue what I'm thinking - last thing I was wanting was to stick in a decent raise and see a club come out on the river, or another Q or K, in which case I'd be all at sea if he jumped all in, so cue the: Beanie1984 is all-In [$28.53] yulia18 folds. . . . . .. . . . . . He's thinking... . . . . . . . . The more he's thinking the more I'm thinking top pair with a flush draw or something like that... . . . . . . kobe08mvp is all-In [$16.70] ** Dealing River ** [ 3c ] Uh oh... kobe08mvp shows [ Ad, Ah ] a pair of aces. Beanie1984 shows [ Td, Js ] a straight, nine to king. Beanie1984 wins $7.83 from side pot #1 with a straight, nine to king. Beanie1984 wins $43.15 from the main pot with a straight, nine to king. Talk about overestimating AA. Did he think I'd jump all in with a pair of kings or summat? Meh... ![]() |

Re: Bragging Rights
Kicked my ass with random fluctuations of dumb luck! I make classic laydowns! I can't get away from that hand! I'm priced in with my implied odds, some jerk sucks out on me. RUNNER RUNNER QUADS! No one else can make these laydowns! I guess some people like being 80% to 1.
I'm worldwide poker champ. |
