Re: Virgin Festival this weekend

Nice one Col..

I've decided I'm gonna employ the same tactic from the last Festival of just gradually getting more and more merry by ordering stella after stella at the table - much to the annoyance of the the bottled water drinking brigade concentrating on their cards.. Well it got me to about 7.00 pm last time !!

Re: Virgin Festival this weekend

Okay folks, not long to go now. Can't wait. I'm doped to the eyeballs with painkillers but I won't let that stand in the way of a piss up though.

For anyone wanting to follow the exploits of DD "The Tiger" and her posse then feel free to go to A World of Poker :: A World of Poker Homepage as they have a good coverage of the tourney. (just ask Colbro)

Re: Virgin Festival this weekend

got back in the early hours after a good evening out meeting some of the memebrs here. Great to see you all after all this time.

Trick Rick is the last man standing from here with about 57000 chips and down to the last 48. I've been trying to find a leaderboard somewhere but can't do so.

I'll let the others tell of their demise but Yen Sid was particually unlucky as he almost won a bounty.

If there are any updates (or video links) I'll post them here.

Re: Virgin Festival this weekend

Yes Traeth - there for real.

She does stand out with red streaks in her hair.

Play has restarted and "twicky" is still in. I don't know where the bubble is though (although I'm sure it won't matter)

There are 32 players left in...
Which means we are 7 players off the money...

72,000 is the average chip stack...

20 minutes left of this level before a dinner break..
