Needing something to grab my attention as this summers had a bit of a slow start - even having to go bagpacking in Asda tomorrow with my football team to fundraise for our summer trip What a crap Saturday afternoon... :down

Sorry guys You should see how lazy i am in real life (cos this isnt real life??) Anywho im as excited as you guys so ill have all my plans laid down tonight for this and it shouldnt be long before the details are finished and out. Ill keep you to your word there Kiko and Beanie, if i need any help i will ask you!

Heres an idea - i was thinking of suggesting some sort of competition and using this as an idea. Anyways - what about firing off emails to bookies and ask them to support and sponser us? Offer them the opportunity of being the only bookie advertised on a sports gambling forum and give them an insight into our potential etc. I think its worth a go - im sure one of them would be willing to take up the chance. What you's think?

I havnt got a clue myself Kiko how that would work.

Some detials that have been ironed out are 1 game of poker per week for 10 weeks. Each individual game contains 10 ppl

1st= 5pts
2nd= 3pts
3rd= 1pt

Or im thinking of 4 places being points. We will see how many people sign up and will split the number into leagues, maximum 10 to each league. At the end of the poker league season the people placed 1, 2 and 3 will get prizes in each league, obviously the higher league your in the bigger prize.

Obviously the prizes will have to be sorted out and if im being honest it could be a while before it gets going. I need to get my finger out too.

Well basically ask them to support our competitions and fund them and give them a couple of banners around the place to advertise for them. Worth a shot and would fund our competitions.

I know what you mean Kiko, just i know nothing about that sort of thing and if is realistic or not, Alien and Gettin are better advised with that one.

I think something like that could be better off during the footy season as there's far more likely to be punters around then. We'll sort out some prize funds mean time anyway. First time it's gonna be a sorta trial run to get things on the go. We can get fancy once we get it up and running.

Its a working progress guys. One thing we need to know though is where we can host our weekly game with free buy in. Anyone know?
