TV star Bardsley guilty of cruelty

Wife Swap star Lizzy Bardsley has been convicted of four offences of child cruelty.

A jury at Bolton Crown Court took just over three hours to find the mother of eight guilty of the offences, which relate to one child who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Bardsley, 33, of Hurstead Road, Milnrow, Rochdale, showed no reaction as the verdict was returned on the three charges of wilful assault of a child under 16 and one count of wilful ill-treatment.

Bardsley shot to fame for her loud-mouthed antics on the Channel 4 reality TV series.

Judge David Hernandez ordered the Probation Service to carry out a pre-sentence report in conjunction with social services.

He added that all sentencing options would remain open. The case was adjourned until February 22 and Bardsley was granted bail on condition she resides at her home address.

I have to admit to hating that woman. She couldnt walk in Jades shoes. I caught her on telly a few times as i must have been seeing a girl at the time and was sofa bound. The woman was the most annoying person i have seen on the telly. All we need now is that bloody Maureen from the driving program to get into the limelight for something again.

I also caught her on telly a few times due to being with a woman. It's funny as it's true. Aye, I seem to remember her suffering severely from Tourette's syndrome. Saying that its becoming the norm nowadays for women to gob off, their becoming worse than blokes unlike the days when they were gentle creatures and the unruly ones were put in there place with a stick or a swift slap.
