Got to thinking about having one done at the ripe old age of 54.

How many of you guys have got one.Been thinking along the lines of a sword with a snake wrapped round it,what do you think.

Tattoos are all the rage these days. It used to be that people who were into tattoos/piercing were seens as freaks/louts/outcasts but nowadays so many celebs are getting them and it's quite fashionable.
Especially tattoos on the lower back, I mean feck sake how many females have got one of those ?!?!

I think alot of people have tattoos these days as fashion accessories, people who would normally never get one. When people describe themselves or their interests they so often say I've got 15 piercings and 10 tattoos etc like the more you get the better or something and it's some kind of competition.

Some people say hey think about when you are old and stuff, think how bad the tattoo will look. That is so stupid, when you are 85 and your skin is hanging off and you a dribbling foaming senile cunt I hardly think someone is gonna look at you and say eeeeewwww look at the tattoo. Your skin is gonna be flapping so much you probably won't even be able to see it anymore. The rancid decompostion of your body is gonna repulse people, not some stupid tattoo they can't even see.

If you wanna get one go for it, at 54 you'd think you have enough life experience for it not to be some crazy phase right ?
Plus I mean at that age your expected lifespan is only another 20 years or so anyway so I mean it's not like you're gonna have to live with it very long anyway

I want to get a tattoo on my left arm. I just worry about what the boss will think and what I will think in later years.

I was going to get one red star per European cup win, leaving plenty of room for future wins of course.

I just think they can look a bit, shit..... I bet there arent many 60 something men who proudly sport a tat. I was also considering getting a modern 'take' of a Liverbird on my arm but again I dont know.

I would want something to make a statement, not just a barbed wire or celtic band around my bicep.
