Not many good ones around , hard pushed to name a decent Sport related movie since , er , f**k knows...

Until now...

Senna

The story of the monumental life and tragic death of legendary Brazilian motor-racing Champion, Ayrton Senna. Not a massive F1 fan , but this movie is fantastic from start to finish , watched it while on holiday , even the wife enjoyed it ( thats the movie and not the holiday )

Surely it has to be Escape to Victory , the attention to detail was groundbreaking , especially the crowd scene at the end, I never knew the frogs had adidas kagools and casio watches back in the 40's

The Damned United is a phemonenal movie IMO, it was on BBC about a month ago, so its probably due on again next week

Hoosiers is a film about a basketball team

they play clips at crucial bits of Indiana Pacers games , I was at game when they played a scene from the team talk when the Pacers went into overtime again Florida...it got the crowd going ,

I enjoyed Invictus but I'm a rugby fan

For us as sportsbettors, "Two for the Money" is definitely a fun movie to watch.

Senna was ok by the way , it sagged a bit in the middle (who doesn't) but overall was a good effort. I never liked him BITD as we were all about Mansell but turns out Mansell was just a monkey and Senna a genius
