Thatcher sold off all of the publicly owned utilities to fund income tax cuts, and she sold them for washers. British Gas was bringing in 4billion a year, and it was sold for 4 billion. Utter fucking lunacy.
She fucked over whole communities, all over the country, many of which have never recovered - just to create a pool of cheap labour - it didn't even work.
