Re: E-Cigs
That was a public service announcement, brought to you on behalf of E-cigs.
Good luck giving up Slick. Not sure about the candy floss and apple pie ones though. Don't reckon Andy Gray or Richard Keys would let you be a linesman, let's put it like that ![]() |

Re: E-Cigs
Nice one Slick. I've never heard of them before, i'm going to try those out later in the year. I only bought 500kg of Golden Virginia last week for £60 so i'm going to be smoking that for the next 2months.
How come these e-cigs havent been advertized over here yet? |

Re: E-Cigs
it sounded a bit like that didn't it RC
, thats why i never left any links.I thought the same thing about the different flavours at first, then thought the only reason I ended up buying the tobacco flavour was because its what I'm used to and on second thought its not exactly nectar. So I've ordered a whole load of flavours to give them a bash, along with a selection of baccy flavours from B&H through to Cuban Cigar, I've also ordered a selection of fruit and drink flavour liquid from strawberry to Red Bull, I decided to leave out the deserts like the crumbles and cheese cakes allthough they get rave reviews ![]() I'll tell you what they smoke(taste) like when they arrive. |

Re: E-Cigs
There not allowed to be advertised Punter as they are a smoking product and because relatively new no research as such has been done on them as that takes years to see what the long term effect maybe.
I'm in no doubt though that once they do take off and the tobacco companies start losing money and the government tax, they will be withdrawn in 'our own' interest. |

Re: E-Cigs
Heres the one i bought Punter a Riva 901, this fellas dripping his liquid in to test it quicky where as you would normally fill the cartridge with e-liquid which would last you most of the day, about two refills a day does me, and the cost.......................... probably about 30p a day, if you mix your own liquid then you could cut that cost by about 2/3rds, hell of a jump from £6 a day for normal cigs.

Re: E-Cigs
You mean two months too late surely
, or am i missing something.Custard creams, now that sounds nice, I'll go and have a look, if its not about I'll get some bugger to make it as they do requests. I've noticed its mainly the Americans that go for all the sweet stuff, I'm also gonna request salted peanuts as I'm more a savoury man. |

Re: E-Cigs
Good luck Slick, theyre a bastard to give up no matter what you try. Been trying last 3 years. Only smoke when im out for a pint this past couple years but trying to kick it full time now.
Doin it cold turkey though which may be a cunt. Seen those E-cigs alrite, theres a fella been selling them outside supermarket in Derry for months now. Sitting on a seat puffing away at one, yet to see him chatting to a customer though. |

Re: E-Cigs
He's probably selling the cheaper ones which i tried at first, they're ok but soon run out of puff and need frequent recharges.
I didn't want to stop smoking, I just couldn't justify the money being spent on them and knew i would have to stop sooner rather than later b4 it killed me. This e-cig seems a nice medium, in fact it sounds to good to be true.... |

Re: E-Cigs
Got my first supply of juice today from a reputable supplier rather than the chinese stuff i originally bought which was a bit sweet and sickly, I'll shove some reviews in here as I've got a load more coming from another supplier so it will act as a goof reference for me or anybody else who wants to try their hand at vaping.
By the way the liquid comes in 3 formulas, PG (Propylene Glycol), VG (Vegetable Glycerin) or a mixture of both, I'm tending to opt towards the VG formula as the PG stuff seems to make my throat feel dry and give me a thirst, its a bit like smoking dry ice whilst i don't seem to have any reaction to the VG formula what so ever. People have said that VG produces less vapour but I havent' noticed any difference, I'm yet to try the PG/VG mix. Supplier: Deal extreme; China. 10ml Virginia VG: Tastes fcuk all like virgina, more like cheap toffee and leaves a burnt sugar taste on the atomiser when running low. a bit sickly and sweet. 10ml Camel VG: I'd rather smoke a camel tell the truth, tastes just the same as the virginia, in fact if i were a gambling man I'd bet it is the fcuking same as the Virginia just a different label on the bottle. 20ml Mint VG: I bought this for the misses to try as she smokes menthol cigs but you know what women are like, she was pulling her fcuking face b4 she even got the e-cig to her lips, had a wee drag then started doing a pretend cough saying 'shove it up your arse', bleeding drama queen! So i had to do the test myself, I was quite suprised by how nice it was, a lot smoother than the Virgina and Camel and produced a nice vapour, I'm not really into minty or menthol cigs but i found myself smoking this a lot as it was a lot better than the other shite above, I'm actually beginning to think this is a PG/VG mix as it has a different texture and vapor to it than the Virginia/Camel liquid. I would actually recommend this to any menthol cig smokers, cheap as chips too from Dealextreme, about a fiver for 20mls. Supplier: Liberty-flights; UK 5ml Winston VG Now were talking tobaccos, smoking this reminded me of smoking a pipe as it has a lovely dry oaky taste to it with no sweetness whatsover unlike the Dealextreme crap. I could smoke this all day long and who knows it may yet become my signature baccy lol. 5ml Chester Blend PG like the Winston i bought this looking for tobacco tastes that were not sweet and in fact it tastes like a mellow version of Winston but doesn't quite have the same throat hit, if i were to buy it again though I'd get the VG version as this was my first full PG smoke and it made my throat as dry as a bone, a nice smoke never the less. 5ml mixed fruit VG I thought i would try my hand at the fruity juices as they do get rave reviews and in fact they aren't too bad, i can't see myself smoking these flavors all day but they do make a refreshing change. This actually tasted like smoking Tooty Fruity's, I've not had those since i was a kid but the flavor must be locked in my brain somewhere as it took me back to the days when all was tranquil and calm, we had fcuk all but all was tranquil and calm, I'm hoping to come across a spangle flavour so i can go back to the time when i was first caught shoplifting. 5ml Blueberry VG Again not a bad flavour but not as strong as i would have liked, Nice fruity taste without being too sweet and sickly, the juice seems a bit thicker than usual but produces a nice vapour and mild throat hit. I find myself keep going back to this one for one last drag, quite adddictive. Well thats all that I've smoked to date but have about another dozen flavours winging there way in from Holland, I'll post up about them as soon as I've tested them. Re: E-Cigs
Just bought myself the Tornado Tank, not used it yet, but looking forward to getting stuck in.
I,ve only got the sample carts that came with it because I didn't want to spend a fortune and then not like it. I'm gonna try and stick to the low strength stuff if possible (11-18mg) because my normal smokes are JPS White, which are pretty light. Cost of the atomisers is pretty steep, so I will be interested to see how long they last. I will let you know how I get on. How many drags do you normally take Slick, ie: is it treated like a normal cig and then left for an hour or are you constantly using it in short bursts. I'm looking for a good old tobacco flavour because I want it to be as much like a cig as possible (daft, but I think thats a mental hurdle), so any liquid recommendations welcome. |
