Re: Finding A Job
Questions
Why do i need a job? To stop me from being bored all day and gambling, To get me out of my crappy routine i have, To make the missus happy. To earn a bit of cash each month instead of the crappy £50 a week i get of job center, To get me out socialising with people. Are you just trying to fill in some time that your embarassed about not using? Yeah i have been thinking all this time i spend on the internet just wasting money i could be out earning a decent wage and come on here after a hard days work knowing i will be getting paid and can waste it on whatever i like Thanks Esprit

![]() You can try the jobcentre website Jobcentre Plus theres links to a job search there. Also can pop into your local jobcentre. There's plenty of ways to find jobs online, sites like monster etc, just Google search "job search UK" or the like, and you'll find plenty of dedicated websites. I certainly wouldn't take into account Komp's opinion here ![]() No disrespect Komp, but we have seen some of your videos and I don't think you live any kind of life to brag about ![]() Your Scottish so you will understand the term "Jakey" when it's used. Maybe you should think about sobbering up and getting a job too? There's plenty of reasons to start working- obviously the money is one. No longer will you be living on, what £50 a week You'll actually be able to go out and enjoy your life without nearly as much money worries.Maybe even be able to afford hanging around with your pals that are working. It gets you out to meet new people and have new experiences. Living a life in front of a computer screen is no real life. Lol I can talk I'm a computing engineer, but for me going to work and meeting new people, interacting and being social makes up a good life. Right now your just wasting time, wishing time would pass quicker, as chances are your bored and haven't anything to do until the next footie match or horse race. How I would see it is this- if your so bored you ever feel that you just wish tomorrow would come quicker- then your wasting your life away, wishing for it to pass quicker. And that's going to happen if your not doing anything all day. Like I said, I'm sure 99% of us do not want a life unemployed, being skint, living life on Tesco's beans, in your own wee bubble until you die, so good luck to you mate. And Komp I wasn't trying to diss you personally, I was simply making a point that your life isn't for about 99% of people out there- especially someone young and hopeful like Adam. |

Re: Finding A Job
Thanks for the Info Pdiddy I have been seeing some guy at probation who is "supposed" to help you look for a job but hes bloody useless to be honest, He hasnt helped me apply for any job what so ever more intrested in getting me to sign forms for him so it looks good for his bosses. That Jobcenter site doesnt seem to have much in my area Horsham or with in 20 miles of here. Ill check out that Monster site you said when i get back from probation and give it a good crack. I think i have a fairly good CV but you never know theres always room to improve on it, One thing is as i have a criminal record for ABH do you guys think i should disclose it or hold it back from Employers if they dont ask or arnt going to do a CRB check?

Re: Finding A Job
Get a job Yorkie, dont be a bum that spends all day on the internet!
..if your lucky you'll get a job where you can spend most of your time on the internet anyway! Like me!..try and get a job in the NHS, IT department or summit, it'll be a piece of piss and you'll do fcuk all..the public sectors the way to go mate, what about a postman? Seems a piece of piss too..

Re: Finding A Job
I dont know where you get the idea that im skint from Pdiddy. I do very well with the poker and i want for nothing. Ive made nearly 2k this week. Not bad as i stay with my brother and dont have any outgoings. I dont ever wish to work as ....well its for losers isnt it?

Re: Finding A Job
sorry im only joking about the losers bit. i realise that some of you have to work. I think Wayne posted somehting i would agree with a while back in that work shouldnt only be about money. If you have to work you would be as well doing somehting you like, be it caring for people or giving something back. Maybe your doing your own business etc. Work should be something more than that to find true fufilment. No point getting out of bed every day to do a job you hate. suppose if you do you are a bit of a loser in life.
