Re: Finding A Job

Good luck yorkie mate.

A friend of mine has been out of work for a bit, and is on some training thing.. You work for a company for 30-40 hours a week for your dole.. But not much hope of getting a job at the end or qualifications. You have to do it as well or you lose your dole money.

Im self employed so it dont affect me.

komp seems to have a good idea.. Play poker win a few quid,, fcuk off to thialand for a few MONTHS come back and do it again. No work,no worries..
Only thing stopping me doing something similar with the missus is the kids. But hey.. in time when they leave home.. It will be done.
As i have said before, it depends what you want out of life.
Me personally.. i would rather work my butt of now so i can relax with the missus when the kids have gone.
I was thinking about going back into animal investigations.I used to get paid £120 a night about 6 odds years ago.(Thats easy) used to do alot of work for Viva!
MMMMM something to think about.

Anyhow,, use the links that The Diddy gave and you should be ok.

No idea whether your criminal record would make any difference to them or not, though.

AHh no i didnt get down to that bit, Hmmm i suppose it might be depending on what you have done. Surely working in a Telephone place aint going to be a problem for someone that hit someone Maybe its for fraud. Went into town a while ago just got back in, I have got my new CV done now and all upto date, Ive always wanted to work for myself but got no trades so that one is out. Ill go check Gumtree now Pete

Maybe your doing your own business etc. Work should be something more than that to find true fufilment. No point getting out of bed every day to do a job you hate. suppose if you do you are a bit of a loser in life.
A good philosophy Komp but its not possible for some people, work is a means to an end..a lot of people would like to change their jobs but have no way of doing so..not as if you can stroll into another job at the moment is it!?
Might have to start playing poker by the sounds of it! I make decent profits from football gambling but retirement seems a long way off..
