restart laptop from scratch

I have a toshiba satellite laptop about 2004, and i would like to reset it back to the beginning, its going very slow at the moment, so is it possible to reset it without the cd that comes with it or do i have to bring to circuit city or the like

or do i go and just buy a nu 1, but dont want to do at the moment cos moneys tight

You could try a system restore to its earliest point or if you want to redo the lot then you'll need a win xp cd.
b4 installing that I'd advise you to download and save onto cd or flashpen the drivers for the laptop otherwise you may struggle to get onto the net afterwards.

what exactly is up with the laptop? if its running slow could be a host of things, first remove any software you do not use then try running that superantispyware thats in another thread in this forum, that solved a lot of problems for me.

You really need an xp disc matey to do a good job.
I wouldnt ever suggest downloading one from a torrent site with a key generator , no that would be illegal so dont do that

.Anyway after you do you need to do a clean install , obviously save all your porn data beforehand and copy it to disc or summat.
After the install you need to go onto your laptop manufacturers website and download all the necessary drivers for your laptop

Then it's away you go , although next time you get a bet in put some money aside and get a new laptop !

as for whats wrong with comp..... from 2004 to 2006 4 guys, no clue about computers between the 4 of us, 1 flat, 1 internet connection, and a lot of dodgy sites , need i say more!!!! ah those were the days... have not used it since then, only for watchin dvds
