Microsoft Service Pack 3
Anyone thinking of installing this update, I'd leave it for the time being (especially if you've got a Hewlett Packard/Compaq PC). Tried installing it myself this morning, then when I tried to restart the PC, it just kept rebooting constantly. In the end had to reboot into Safe Mode and use a System Restore. Seems Microsoft are working on it.

how fast a pc are we looking for to run this? komp recommended it to me the other week when i was looking for SP2
im sure my wee pal, sorry my laptop, could handle it but i wouldnt want it to run any slower, is a wee demon on the net these days even without SP2.

No idea Spacecat, sorry. To be honest, I didn't even realise SPs affected the speed of your PC/laptop.
