TDP Tipster League: Free to Enter

I thought i would start a new thread specifically for this league. We will be looking at other leagues and formats (Euro 2008, EPL, Non-League, Spanish etc) but for now to test it all we'll use my scottish install (thanks Slick) We can use this as testbed and then kick off proper when we've got it all sussed.

I'll add all the scot's 1-2-3 (need to get icons/flags) and we'll see how it all goes. We'll make sure that its all worth playing for. We'll just take it as it comes. Dont worry it wont detract from anything and could be a bit of fun aswell as something else worth looking at.

I dont know what order these fixtures have came out. Not what i typed in but that will be looked at. I aint too keen at having SPL on it but i suppose you cant have evrything

In future folks can pay a fiver say or whatever (to TDP paypal) and when recieved folks can invite folks to their own leagues etc. well in time etc

I see that Spacecat thanks. My league is a fiver to join i cant work out how to view it though. Also just noted that we can have multiple leagues all on the one install (soz slick) I wonder why all them sites have them on differant installs

and then i charge £1 pw Spacecat Nah we need to have a payment system for the mini leagues. It will all be free for TDP main leagues Spacecat. Ive sussed out how to make up leagues for each league. Ill go make some up and tell us if you can join or not spacecat. No rush as i could be a while to me though its well worth a bit of effort on my part. an hour a week and i'll get some help in. Can you change leagues up top Spacecat and join etc? Maybe not poss but ill work on it.

you know, on the ict website i help maintain a free scottish 123 prediction league with lots of banter, rivalries and a cash prize. the cash prize is £1000 plus whatever extras will end up come the final table... put up by our resident quadzillionaire who is currently trying to buy a football club just for the craic .. think the companies hes sold in his lifetime have been worth £50million, he makes $20 million a year selling lubricating engineer oil to brunei, think he owns canadas biggest cosmetic exporter and is in the process of selling upto branson. hes a top bloke mind whos had his ups and downs and blah blah blah you dont care about him...

ANYWAY

he lays all of our selections as he believes all tipster comps are a hotbed for losers, everybody in the league will win in pounds the points they have left (every gets a fictional £10 a week to place on a league game from the first to the third, using will hills odds). theres me and 4 others who are up on our original 150 points, so hes being proved right!

but aye ill play yours too as theres the potential for a decent tipster comp to be big around here. picking 15 scores is a pain though i have to say, maybe if there was more involved itll be a breeze but early days aye

I think it should all come together spacecat. Ive sussed that folks can join all leagues if the league exists when they join. When i say league i mean 'league stats' (EPL, SPL etc) folks can join mini leagues as and when they please. Its all bugging me a bit but il sort it to useable level. Might have to delete you im afraid spacecat to let you be able to glabally jon leagues. Nah sod it it its all just a test. Ill go do a few more leagues and get some folks involved. I will then DELETE everything and start a fresh. Actually we've got the original one to use of course. Dont mind me im just talking to myself. Right im gonna go do it as my hands are aching. your prediction league sounds ar more fun than ours could be spacecat. I hate these sort of things too but folks seem to like them and i like things nicely presented.
