im still in my 20's but i remember the days when i used to goto halloween parties, or just the pub, what a knob ive turned into. out of all the pointless holidays through the year this really should be the one that gets everybody going for a laugh. christmas is all bullshit about families and money, new year is just a piss up like any normal tuesday night (except with fighting).. i cant think of any more but halloween used to always be party night for me. tell a few jokes, wear a gorrilla mazk to get a free pint or two, girls all dressed up as clamidia spreading angels or devils, every single one of my mates would go out and just have a laugh. there would always be some tit dressed as a caveman and singing rod stewert karaoke in my old local i miss it.

so instead.... ive spent all night playing poker just to finish bloody 27th and 2 places out of the money, which is still the best ive done in 3 days. making a sausage sandwich and watching my team get pumped 4-1 but playing 4 midfielders out of position and fucking around on in the penalty box. its halloween, i should be able to laugh this crap off and go try to win some free shots by bobbing for apples. i miss my local alot.

i have to say its refreshing to get that off my chest, without the need to punctuate or correct grammer. im a mod on another forum which has about 5,000 members, i have to be on my toes with language all the time, or the poxy fuckers question your right to mod

Cool Spacecat long you been playing poker? I tend to do terrible in big tournies these days after a few top tables after playing a month or so (luck) never had a sniff of one since. Stt's i like i have to admit and i wish i had the illto play 6 man over 10 but i want more money but it doesnt work that way

We did have a powercut mind that effected 80,000 homes in the northwest according to the news, apparently it was caused by some 'trick or treaters' setting fire to a substation.

Its the last time i tell em to fcuk off, kids just aint what they used to be.

Must be great having a powercut on Halloweeen slick. Maybe well all should have one. Thats what the country needs. Its the little things that matter imo. I suppose there must be a more menacing element to trick or treating these days now you mention it slick. I blame the breakdown of marriages in council estates personally.

it has its own mini betting section which is a weird quiet bit of the site you can only see after registering, theres a guy in there worth millions who randomly goes on about this deal or that deal but then still gets f#cked off with Brechin equalise with Raith and do his coupon. he also knows a few of the people i do from perth race course and posts loads of dodgy fixed races and stuff that i have to keep deleting, an irishman emails us both from time to time giving us a heads up whenever theres a decent fix coming in.. then he bloody posts it on the website ..! shame we arent all worth the £10million+ he is.. if you do bother registering then youll notice im 2nd in the betting forum scottish 1-2-3 tipping challenge thingy, is magic.so far

ive been playing poker online on and off for about 4 years now slick, i go through week long spells of spending all day at it, then taking 2 months off as ive lost too much money. until a few weeks back i only ever bothered with betfair poker, as it was the only site i ever needed to keep money in, i now have a pokerstars account as i find its best for tournaments.... though the ratio of mugs/decent poker players on there is nowhere near as large as on betfair or ladbrokes (so im told!). overall i dont do well, im down about £60 this week, though a good £40 of that was on 1 on 1 cash table experiments, i enjoy them but im too shite for it and probably too shite overall to be playing poker with real money
