Any Sunderland or Reading fans free this Saturday afternoon?

I just received a phone call from Boyle Sports saying that I've just won two tickets to the Sunderland versus Reading game this Saturday (I won a prize draw).

I can't go (I'm not going all the way to Sunderland!) but I can nominate somebody to have 'em instead. I think it's one of those 'turn up at the box office' type things but I can always ask if you want further clarification.

Any takers?

Shame to hear that as he was a bit of a legend at Sunderland and was always popping up in my footy cards as a kid the cnut and i could never swap him.

I should have kept em as they could be worth a few bob now.

We did indeed Stereo. The tickets were bang on the half way line, about 20 rows up from the directors seating.

Much appreciated, my mate was well chuffed.

That strike from Kenwyne Jones was a bit of alright.

Nice tribute to Porterfield before the game. The club played the match commentary of his goal back in '73 and then the fans went ballistic when they 'scored' - a great way to begin the minute's applause.

Shame that only 39'000 or so turned up, though many of the empty seats were in the Reading end. I guess they filled around 1/4 of their allocation.
