Re: Anyone into Terry Pratchett?
Cheers for that ODM, good news that. I used to love the Discworld series when i was about 14 or 15. I read them all and still have them all although i havent read one for a good few years now.
Very funny books if you like your quirky humour. I wouldve thought anyone who likes Douglas Adams would also like Pratchett. Not for everyone but theyre good stories in their own right as well as being very funny. Some very nice themes on religion in there as well. The Discworld is a flat planet which sits upon elephants backs who are standing on a giant turtle who swims through space for those who didnt know! Aye Death is a great character, used to look through the book for the parts written in CAPITALS to see when he was gona show up so its good to see theyve chosen to make one with him as the lead. Death and Rincewind were my favourites. I wouldve rather have them make Mort than Hogfather though but you cant complain.Im glad theyre not making one about the Witches they used to piss me off a bit actually reading those ones. |

That's ridiculous Mr M. Then again, I know that there are people on this board who are into their religious fiction, so they should appreciate it ![]() |
