I´m new arround here ,too.
I have said it a few times that my english is not the best,but I want learn it better! So I´ve you will find mistakes in my posts, please post it in this thread!
I look on it every day, I promise it!!

At the moment I work with this interpreter
But with your help, anytime I can speak like an englishman
thegerman:

- I came from the eastside of germany near Leipzig (where the conFed Cup is )
- I´m 20 years old and I have closure my apprenticeship as Eventmanager for a month at an Eventagency, where I work now.
- I make sportsbets since seven years. In Germany is unfortunately a bet - monopol, so I can always bet on the net...or at the govermental lottery.
But the lottery have puny quotas!

I hope you accept an foreigner from europe .. at the translater where another possible alternative for foreigner ( in german:Ausländer) "Alien"

Can I get a last question at all? Is it true, that not every human can go to australia to live there for ever? A lot of germans dream about a live in australia, but they say that is not so easy to have a "greencard"??

Hi German and welcome to the Daily Post. A lot of posters on here are from Britain but some are from Australia. I'm sure the Aussies on here will know better than me but emigrating to Australia is based on a points system I seem to recall. If you score highly enough they will let you in. If you don't you get told to "sling ya hook" in typical no nonsense Aussie style.

Can I immigrate britain easily? In germany they say that the englishman could not like the germans, but I´m not agree with it, because my sister was in brighton with her schoolclass, she was enthused for britain!

Your sister must have been very lucky thegerman because a good many Englishmen will tell you that we don't like the Germans very much - sorry.

It stems from the fact that you are better than we are at football and you also steal our sunbeds when we are on holiday in Spain (Ha ha - This is what we call in Britain, "humour")

In fact, the British generally like to pretend that they don't like anyone from any other countries but it is not generally true - with the exception of people from Scotland which is a little country just off the coast of Britain - if you are familiar with the Spam Pit on this board, you will understand why Britain keeps Scotland. They like to have their rant and pretend that we haven't ruled them for hundreds of years but, in the main, they are pretty harmless (and quite useful at times as we keep them there to invent things for us, a task far too menial for us to do ourselves).

Anyway, welcome to the board and I'm sure that even among the ignorant here there must be some German speakers. I seem to recall that Runtcrab speaks it like a native. You might like to send him a PM.

I had the pleasure of visiting Leipzig a few weeks a go. A lot of building work in the city centre and the roads were chaotic but a very nice place.

Aye welcome Wolfgang, you'll get in no problems. Just buy a one way ticket and say you have plenty of 'working in mcdonalds' experience , that should do it.

No, but I´m always interessting in other countries and the chance to immigrate.
In germany the tax are very high, and the the people are always in hecticness.
I don´t know the way of life in Britain, but I hear that the people are multi culturell and everybody can wear and make what he wants ( of course everytime in law!).

So that´s my way,too!
