I hate making decisions on one side of an argument and i've seen a number of threads about the PL / TDP split. Having joined here with no knowledge of PL before hand (and having been pointed here by someone who i don't think had been on the site for that long, Cheers Frodo) i've sat at the back and looked and thought that it sounded like the moral high ground (as much as a bunch like you lot can have it) existed here.

Decision made/confirmed, PR is a prize arse and i apologises for the tint of scepticism to which i've viewed previous exclamations of his arseness.

And as for replying to his history thread so he can ban us - he banned most of us for being "Guilty by association" and joining this forum anyway.

Note the bold there - "Open discussion or expression of ideas". Would the sheep currently at PL wonder why the evil sheppard is so keen to bad Dave and Collete when they haven't been abusive? Collete may copy tips from other forum, I don't know.

What I do know is that many members do that and infact Ross PAYS them money to do it from Sports-punter.com. Would they also wonder why he's editing and going on about mass bannings in a "History" thread?

I read the adbridged history and it's bollocks. Personally (and I'm a mug who continually lines his pockets having signed up to numerous accounts through his site) I like to give due credit to people who help me acheive things in life, whether I've since fallen out with them or not.

I did have a few Pm's warning me before I eventually got banned and was told that I was Guilty by association with TDP". Big Bad Boss Man finally banned me for posting my TDP Mod email address on a thread - AMP@thedailypuntcom. Banned. :loon

For the best really as I wouldn't want to inadvertingly help their forum anymore. I just can't stand hypocrites, fools and people who bend the truth so blatantly. It does piss me off though that I can't give thanks to the NL boys sometimes if I follow a tip of theirs, but what would PR know about giving credit where it's due?

I find it quite ironic that PR should accuse Collette of lifting her tip's from elsewhere.
His own 'no2' (in every sense) the gifted Carl suddenly overnight became this master horse tipster , all the cnut did was sign up to a service and copy/paste someone elses thoughts claiming them as his own.

Pl is PL , their members , especially the GC mob like that sort of place to hang out where being everyones bezy mate is obligatory. Nowt wrong with that of course , not my cup of tea really but we all know that that type of forum popular if not boring.
At least we we're right about sigs , they make the place look like a teenage dungeons and dragons forum.
I beleive in justice and it's obvious that PR has been incredibly fortunate to steal a forum containing many excellent punters , many of whom he has no idea exist but dont like change so stay.He'll get what's coming to him , they all do.
We can all see the absolute ridiculousness of scuttling around , reading peoples mail , banning the word 'dailypunt' and trying to convince his prisoners that the internet is full of bad men and he's protecting them all.

If I'm honest I'm a bit dissapointed that we have become just a rival forum rather than somewhere different.
PR is getting married? I always presumed he was gay! Nothing wrong with that of course , I thought that when I was a mod there
