Re: Please Give Hopeless Hope
Any profit whilst betting on a system would be classed as good in my book, I suppose everybodys needs are different, the hardest thing is actually finding a system that works and then tweaking it to meet your needs.
Patience is the key factor and don't just bet for bettings sake. |

Re: Please Give Hopeless Hope
Hopeless,Hopeless,Hopeless,Hopeless,Hopeless!
greetings so you wanna be a pro gambler specialising in soccer? no problemo 1) first of all take an A4 piece of paper and write on it,in caps....... "every single time I place a bet I,Hopeless,am effectively saying that I know something about this market/game/situation that the overwhelming majority of the other 200,000+punters DO NOT know". 2) read this at least once a week 3) take advantage of your unemployment and the wonders of the internet to FIND information that you think may not be known by the overwhelming majority of other punters. 3) when you find such info, and you WILL find it,understand that: a) the info/stat may be irrelevant b) if it IS relevant, the bookies may well have taken it into account for future prices(so you need to aquire knowledge of prices and the changes in prices over time) c) even if you have indeed found a potentially profitable piece of info, there is no guarantee that it will in fact be profitable(due to luck or a change in the situation) d) you must do this continually to stay one step ahead of the market/prices 4) the other really important thing you must do is learn to estimate the odds of the following weeks games. ie DO NOT look at any of the bookies prices. work out what prices YOU would offer your friends etc on every game(or as many as possible). only when you are able to do this reasonably accurately, will you be ready to begin betting for profit. just one moer thing,re slicks advice on trebles. he is of course correct.HOWEVER,I do realise that you would be a very unusual man if you did in fact heed this advice. I mean betting £6 on a 2-1 shot ,in the vain hope that there just might be a touch of value in the price, just doesnt cut it especially when you are on the dole? well,if you really have to bet trebles and accas, then do it on antepost bets every single week of the season! allow me to start you off. do a £10 acca on: leicester to be promtd paris st germain to win the french league. crawley to be promoted hearts without celtic and rangers every week, either add to that bet slightly and/or hedge it slightly good luck, innit Last edited by hotspur : 01-08-2011 at 15:45. |

Re: Please Give Hopeless Hope
ok great.
having read the current edition of the racing and football outlook, you probably should make your 2nd bet west ham, crawley etc then, west ham crawley hearts marseille etc,etc I hope I am allowed to inform you that you(and everyone else) should make sure they get tomorrows racing post as it has a huge pullout containing great antepost betting advice. quite frankly, imho, anyone who cant make a profit betting no more than 4% of their bank on any bet(and usually 2%) and sticking to doubles and trebles this season, should give up! |
