Hi everyone, I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Ulster researching user perceptions of online betting services.

I would like to invite you to take part in a piece of ground-breaking research in the hope of making betting fairer for all.

I have also been able to secure funds to offer all valid entries entry into a draw for Amazon Vouchers. First prize will be a £100 Amazon Gift Voucher and 2 runners-up will win a £50 Amazon Gift Voucher.

andy why don't you join up with those swedish researchers , combine the questions and share the data , you could then quote your european colaboration in your doctorate

The aim is to gain a better understanding of this fast-paced area which can be used to advise government bodies and industry in the development and implementation of fair online betting policies and customer protection systems.

Pretty obvious really hotspur. The bookies are obviously feeling a bit guilty because they've been utter bastards and screwed punters out of every last penny that they can whilst welching out of taking on anyone who shows any sign of making a decent profit from them.

They just want the world to be fairer.

Ground breaking my big fat hairy arse. I've got 20 plus betting accounts and I don't think any single one of the bookmakers I use hasn't asked me the exact same questions. I'd like someone to tell me what is so ground breaking and, as you say, how it can possibly be used to make anything fairer.
