Betfair really like screwing their customers to try to boost that share price. Anyone up over 250k (which will no doubt decrease soon enough) will get hit by the new PC of between 40 and 60%
I'm nowhere near that, or even in normal PC territory, but as someone who is in profit on betfair and was planning on a major ramp up this season, it's the ever changing goalposts that worry me. Who's to say that in 2 years time it won't be 50k? I expect we'll see liquidity down over the next 6 months. Unless some of those +250k folk fancy a takeover bid, after all it's only £8 a share...
