beware of bet 365 bonus offer

just warning people thinking of availing of bet 365 $200 deposit bonus. i had to have a total of 1200 euro worth of bets until could withdraw the money which i had no problem with.
i have now worked my way through 500 euro out of the 1200 and they ring me and restict to me to a maximum bet of 35 euro making it extrememly difficult to clear the bonus especially when you have to do it within 90 days.
there is only around 450 euro left in the account and i cant withdraw any of it until i make 700 euro worth of bets and they still wont reduce these limits. iv rang up numerous times and they are extremely unhelpful and quite rude.
i would steer clear of them if you were thinking of doin business with them.

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble Olly, personally I've never had a problem with Bet365 and they are my favourite bookie by a long shot.

i had the same problem with boylesports. in fact i still have bonus money in the account but i can't be bothered to bet as i'm usually restricted to less than a fiver. i closed my account in disgust for a full year even though their was uncleared money still in the account. when i reactivated it the money was still there - but so was the restriction should just grasp the nettle and clear it really.

never had a problem with bet365. in fact they seem to keep throwing bonuses at me (two £100' ers in the last 12 months), even though i keep winning. maybe it's because my stakes are fairly low?

Pretty common practice - luckily enough, bet365 offers enough retarded arbitrages and stale lines to not make it a problem

meaning, you can just bet through the bonus with $35 bets without ever having to worry about taking a minus or neutral EV bet. that place is ridiculously soft.

Can you not just place multiple bets within those limits, eg. in-play?
