They would never of accepted the bet unless its bigger on betfair. Bookies won't accept £50 let alone 120k if it isn't.

The punter is a mug as he would have got nearer 2/5 on betfair, So either the bookies covered themselves by only having 100k on betfair to cover that 120k.... so 20k in the coffers for them.

If the punter had the 2/5 he would be winning nearer 48k not 40 in William Hill.

He wasnt withdrawing it Yorkie, he was just going every day of so ,and saying let it ride on such and such a bet - so the only cash that has changed hands was his original stake or 9k or whatever it was.

And they rung through your bet because of the odds. They dont want to build up huge liability on something like Barca at evens coz they need to know their position and when to cut the price. But they`ll take £200k wins at 1.01 all week - it just takes 1 slip up to get them millions, and we all know it happens everyday .

I put in the Champions league thread days before i had backed Barca @ 2.10 actually so So yeah im clever getting a better price than even Betfair had.

And my point was i had to have a £300 bet rung through so surely he must have to as well.
