That last one was weird as hell ODM -Basel of Kellaways was backed from 5/1 into 5/4 in 5mins before the start, and my winner drifted from 6/4 to 11/4 , and it absolutely dotted up! Doubling my return! But the market got it completely wrong

Infact my 4 winners which drifted, all ranb against mad hot backed in horses that flopped badly. Its becoming a concurring theme recently ive noticed.

Its not as great as it sounds OD. I do perms, so overall I aim for between 6/4 and 2/1 on my perm, and I do maybe 4-5 races in total. I use a dutching calc, and stake accordingly so that I get the same return whatever of horses wins - the only bonus being like you said, the best thing to ever happen to racing - BOG! The early percentages on early odds are very tight, so the majority do drift. And the drifters boost the returns.

For example, my outlay saturday was £20, and my potential profit minimum was £40, so I was getting 2/1 on the deal. With 4 drifters winning I went upto £140! I was looking at around £70 going into that last race, and it doubled in price, so it was zoomed upto £140!

I backed one once at Uttoxeter called Bobby Ewing, I took the early 3/1, and it drifted to 14/1 and won by miles! That was another great day. The thing is, when ones backed others have to drift, and the market isnt always right, THATS when it pays
