Newby, but making good progress.
Hi All.
Being fairly new to sport trading I thought "where better to eavsdrop on experienced musings". I've won some/lost some in the past (like most people) mostly from recommendations, but after hearing recurring stories of the great riches that can be had when in the know, I thought it about time I sorted fact from legend. There's a myriad of sites professing to offer sage advice but I've only found a couple that are consistently delivering. So, with your permission I'll sit at the back and learn and ask questions if and when. Cheers, Hockalugy |

![]() I love it Slick- that should be on our front page. ![]() Yes, welcome mate. I'm not sure what your level of knowledge is but feel free to ask whatever you like and add whatever you know. The only requirement here is a sense of humour. |

Re: Newby, but making good progress.
Along similar lines to this thread, I've started to take an interest in trading rather than just my normal betting selections.
Having a look at the current IPL season the odds seem to vary quite markedly from the fall of a wicket to a four being hit. For example, I backed Decan today at 2.6 odd and layed when they dropped to 2.0 garunteeing a profit. The questions I have though is: - What sports do people find are the best for trading? Is football any good? - Do people have a fixed return point when they'll lay out a profit or restrict a loss? Or do they just follow the game and decide as and when? - Also, how do people deal with laying out a profit. It feels strange that having watch Deccan get into a reasonable position, that I'm not just letting the bet ride and take the full value of the win (in the hope that the outcome comes off). Any thoughts people? |
