Re: Writing a letter to Betfair - help!
WBX exclusion ends ,you send them a message and they unlock you straight away - Betfair you need to write off, say why you want to bet again, and even then they may not say yes.

Re: Writing a letter to Betfair - help!
Maybe it better for you NOT to have Betfair.
You are saying you want betfair mobile? Why? Can you not wait till you get home to place a bet?? That shouts look out to me mate. You excluded yourself for a reason. yeah? Well leave it like that. If you are good at what you do then you should make money no matter where you put the bet on. bet365 do lots of in-play stuff. (i know because of Yorkie doing it) So there is lots of 1.01 stuff there. And imo if you only stick to betting when you are at home your time is limited. Therefore you will spend much more time on selectiing your bets, instead of just wacking it all on whatever. if you know the horses well then you "Should" be able to select a false fav every day.. Like in the 2.15 today. Baglioni 4-9 (1.49) Fav came 2nd. I know why it did but do you? Find just 1 a day and lay it. If it wins dont worry move on to the next day. Theres loads of thing you can do on the exchanges and bookmakers.Betfair is not everything mate. |

Re: Writing a letter to Betfair - help!
Bet365 inplay is for mugs, end of. The odds are appalling compared to Betfair. A typical 1.02 at 365 is like 1.10 at Betfair.
Also, as I said many times, I self excluded everywhere. Inc 365. There's NO way bk. Regarding Betfair mobile, I rarely go out, its not that I need to bet, its that on any given day I may not be able to get something due to the wife/kids using the laptop. Its convenient. No matter what I say to Betfair, I cant get an acc in my name - apparently the email I sent to everyone ,asked for a limetime ban, doh! They really should give you a cooling off period, coz I was in a rite mood the day I sent that email. WBX is actualy ok, dont get me wrong, and its fine to have to work with the tools you have. Just a niggle laying at over the odds, or having to bet just before the race coz there's no liquidity. Having said that, it beats walking to the bookies. Maybe I need to work on a plan this week to make WBX work for me? Got a week to sort summat. Its going to have to be horses, and the football ill have to take as I find. Cant ignore the world cup can I? Maybe its a good thing anyway. Ive gotten lazy with my betting over the last few years. Maybe I need to prove things to myself. Ive gotten somewhat stale! Grim |

That just doesn't make any sense mate. There is no law that forces a bookmaker to give an account to a customer, so they have every right to refuse to take anybody's bet they wish to refuse without given any reason for it. They could look at Grim's file and decided that he's just more trouble than he's worth so they don't want him. |

What I meant was that, as long as the bookmaker is happy to take the customer's bets, there's no reason why Grim shouldn't be allowed to bet there again. The way it sounds though, Betfair are obvioulsy relucant to take his/his mates money. |

Re: Writing a letter to Betfair - help!
What exactly happened that made you asked for a self-exclusion anyway? You could have just asked for an account closure if the case is that not serious. This way, we could learn about your story as well as learning what your friend should write.
