komp's Permutation Thread

Every week i read some amazing permutation bets in the RFO. Im so jealous of their knowledge base on it. I want to know all the bets myself. I will do more work on the thread tracking them all down. If you have some good perms then please tell us about them. thanks

I'll get some good ones in time.

Re: komp's Permutation Thread

I don't really follow what you mean by a good perm Komp. As with any bet a perm is only as good as the matches that you put in it.

Do you mean at what odds and for what number of correct selections within the perm you can profit?

e.g.

trebles from 4 when the odds of each match are 1.4 is never going to work out well as a single line does you no good. To me that's a bad perm

trebles from 4 when the odds are 1.59+ is a good perm in my book as if you get one line up then you make your stake back and anything beyond that just increases the profit.

Is that the sort of thing you mean or are you just looking for absurdities such as 252 1p bets on 5 from 10 correct scores can win you 100k

Re: komp's Permutation Thread

Sorry Quandram. I was looking for big crazy ones that maybe even include 2 or 3 perms in one. something like you have 3 bankers and then have them doubled with 3 others and then theyre all permed to make x amount of bets. Thats not a good example. There's loads of differant permed stakign plans. Maybe its a throwback to the football pools. I will try and find some examples in my old copies of RFO to get us started. Some of them really are a work of art.

Can you explain this in a bit more detail pete how many picks you have to do and how you would fill it in on a coupon slip It could be a good thing for me to try out this weekend

Also Komp what are perms? are they trebles from 5-folds etc

Re: komp's Permutation Thread

Its perming 5 from 10 0-0 draws, on the old style coupons you'd write it on 0-0 on the score bit and "Perm any 5 from 10 @ 1p"

Re: komp's Permutation Thread

Ah right so from 10 matches all 0-0s you would put in the 5fold section 1p which would equal £2.52 thats bloody mad and surely worth £2.52 of anyones money on a saturday

Re: komp's Permutation Thread

You can only do that with certain bookies though, Yorkie. Can't do it with Bet365, as their minimum bet is 10p or 20p, can't remember which now, but they won't let you back anything for 1p.

Re: komp's Permutation Thread

I'd do it like this

Hometeam Score
Home score

right down the list then at the bottom

Perm any 5 from 10 @ 1p
[Total Stake £2 - 52]

i.e.

Man Utd 2-0
Newcastle 1-1
Celtic 0-1
and so on
