Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

If you'd just won £100 per goal free spread bet on any live game in the next two weeks, which game would you put it on.

You can guess that most games will quote around 2.7 to 3 goals with the Man United v Derby game being more like 3.7 to 4 so it's important to pick the game that's gonna be most over the quote.

Tonight tempts me with the Blythe Blackburn game quoted at 3.1 but I'd like to get some other viewpoints.

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

I would go for tonights game. Blyth are going to be up for it and in turn the Blackburn players know that they'll be up for it blah blah blah.

No cup shock here imo - Blackburn easy street and will make Blythe open up. Definately an overs for me but as i'm pants - discard what i think

Consider it disgarded Kegman

I agree mate and tonight would be a good shout but it's a bit short notice and I feel the need not to rush in to anything.

Think I'll have a bet on over 3 goals tonight anyway, then I wont feel so bad when the goals fly in.

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

I'd avoid the game tonight ODM.

Blackburn are a very poor side going forward IMO.

Players there now who play in attacking positions who are nothing more than passengers, had a good one off season and are keeping their place due to that.

I actually think Blackburn ahve one of the poorest starting 11 in the EPL and really think they could go down.

Big Sam has hardly ever been a coach to go for the juggular and attack teams either.

Derby game another to avoid also. Man Utd are having a terrible time right now of scoring goals, especially at home where teams would be more defensively set up.

Your effectively betting on a Man Utd hammering also because I can't see Derby scoring, can you?

Best to look for a game where you have two attacking sides.

Atletico v Barcelona be my call tomorrow

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

Blackburn: Robinson, Ooijer, Samba, Nelsen, Warnock, Emerton, Kerimoglu (Mokoena 73), Andrews, Pedersen, McCarthy (Derbyshire 85), Roberts.

Blackburn team from last match and i don't think it would be much different from now.

Bar Samba, Nelson and Warnock I dont rate much of the rest of the team.

You have 35 yr old Ooijer and 38 yr old Tugay. Andrews who was playing league 1 football last season.

Pedersen, Emerton and McCarthy 3 players who had a cracking season and were the best thing since sliced bread and haven't done a thing since.

I am not even going to waste my time commenting on Jason Roberts

well I've backed the overs in the Blyth v Blackburn game.

2.5/3.0 @ 10/11

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

Me too Kegman.

Respec' to Keek's opinions and Blackburn are a poor side but these geysers are non league and I can see a 3 or 4 goals to 1 win in this one.

I wouldn't like to say who'll score first though.

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

Surely non league teams are the worst thing for EPL sides?

Playing on pitches that are far worse than normal. Players like Tugay love to play the ball around and might not be so easy today depending what the pitch is like.

Cold horrible night, these players would rather be at home tucked up being paid 40k a week rather than playing wherever the fuck Blyth is

Good luck ODM, i will be rooting for you but dangerous!

What channel is this game on?

Sky lost all rights to the FA Cup??

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

greall, vogel, villanueva, simpson, derbyshire play

Villanueva is a great player. I rate him very highly and if he toughens up could go pretty far.

Skillful fucking cnut too. Lets hope he puts on a show tonight

I know what you're saying about United's recent goalscoring record Keeks, in fact I made the same point in another thread that 4 goals in 6 prem games is definitely not title winning form.

BUT

You shouldn't underestimate Derby's lack of ability to defend. A fucking non league side went two up against them on Saturday for fuck's sake

A combination of that and possibly the dropping of some of United's bigger names to the bench might just lead to the hammering.

Good call Keeks.

There have been plenty of chances for 5 goals or so but I have to say that I've seriously overestimated Blackburn in this one. They should just hand Sunderland a bye to the next round.

Re: Goals galore - Whadayareckon?

Gone for Hull Arsenal game - buy total goals at 2.9

If it gets to 2 goals early on I can back no more goals to guarantee a profit but will play it by ear. Nothing to lose
