Sony Reduce the cost of PS3

Well, not exactly. A PS3 will cost you less than before, £299 to be exact. But it will have a smaller hard drive than before, 40 gig and wont be backwards compatible. Which is pretty shit given the lack of decent games for it. I had a go on my mates the other week and to be honest, it's ok but it wouldnt want to make me shell out a few hundred notes on one. I'd sooner have a Wii.

Not being able to play old PS2 games on it is a massive hindrance IMO. Big fuck up here from Sony. Give us a cheaper option with less memory and less features. Genius marketing strategy....

Still a big fan of the X Box 360 . I got it flashed for 20 quid and games are a fiver , total value for money.
Halo 3 is the dogs bollocks.

I wouldent mind getting one but i aint gonna pay that sort of cash for it, I'll wait till it drops to around £150 like they usually do and have a think about it.

I've gone back to the ps2 lately as theres still loads of decent games i havent played on it yet so i can easily wait for the ps3 to drop in price, the wii doesnt get much of a look in now either now the novelty has worn off.

Wins why don't u download and burn your own games rather than paying a fiver for them. convenience i suppose but on a decent bb line you get at least a game a night.
