I've had a few SE's and the only prob I've had was with the original "joystick" type mechanism they had (was it the k500?). Anyway, they've improved that now so should be good.
I'd say the decision to sell or to keep would depend on whether you're going to make full use of all or most of the features. If yes, then keep it. If no and you can get a good price on ebay to make a profit and still get a phone (assuming you even need a new one) that'll do everything you need then sell
