Scottish Grand National.
 | With the National Hunt season drawing to a close, Scotland hosts its richest meeting of the season over two days, culminating in the marathon feature race on Saturday 19th April: The Scottish Grand National.
It is one of the most competitive handicaps of the season and will feature some familiar faces from the Aintree Grand National, all challenging each other again over the slightly shorter trip of 4 miles and half a furlong. So which trainers should we be focusing on where winning is concerned?
Last year, a fabulous win for Ferdy Murphy took his record in the race to 3 wins in the past 8 years whilst David Pipe, fresh from his Aintree Grand National win, holds a very strong hand. Also, the Paul Nicholls yard simply cannot be ignored in these big races. | | Whichever horse you choose, you can get yourself off to the best possible start by visiting Sportingbet and checking out our great value odds. What's more, we're offering an Any-Fence-Faller Refund on the big race, giving you every chance to have an enjoyable day. (Applies to all single bets placed after 5pm on Friday.)
Simply bet a minimum £5 on the race and if your horse falls, unseats its rider or is brought down at any fence during the race, we will refund your stake up to a maximum of £200, terms and conditions apply. Click here to place a bet.
We hope you enjoy the race, our great odds and offers - and wish you the best of luck. |
