The Importance of the Live Performance

I won't bore you by typing it all out again, rather let the Swiss entry from last year make my point.

Only video available pre semi final:



On the strength of that, they were backed into 7.00/8.00 and favouritism. 1/10 best price to make the final. As far as I'm aware there was never a live performance available before the show, but for the odd snippet from rehearsals which didn't give much info, and so the backers continued to plough into it despite only having heard a recording.

Semi final:



Crashed, burned, not even through to the final. That note at 2:05
