Re: France

Classic, lovely stuff from the French as per usual.

That's bizarre, that backing track is annoyingly brilliant. Won't do particularly well cos France never do but they always like to try different stuff, hats off boys.

Re: France

I'm with you on this one Spacecat, I reckon it's fantastic. That backing track is brilliant.

Not totally hated no, I guess its just the psychology of disliking/not helping the powerful countries. The big 4 never get any help - I guess its just not as romantic as giving your vote to a little country. 2007, UK 2nd last, France 3rd last, Spain 5th last, Germany 6th last.

Having said that, this is an original entry, not much in previous years to judge it against, and if one of the big four were ever to go close again it would have to be with something completely different.

Probably not this, but in terms of the huge outsiders, I'd much rather chance my arm at this than some bland garbage - the fact that the German entry(complete non-event of a song and can't sing to boot) is trading lower is a disrace.

I'm sure you'd get 300+ on this if you ask nicely.

Re: France

no matter the level of gambler, nobodies going to tie up over a grand of their cash for the sake of my fiver..!

if im going to back a huge price id rather it be one that could potentially perform well at the semis, which of course france arent going to be taking part in

Re: France

Live performance there.

It's just all too French really, that's the genius of it and its downfall, as everyone hates the French and aren't about to endorse 50 years of stupid laughs and bad body odour with a vote on Euros night.

Re: France

I like this one, but being the big four I don't know?

That has to be the first French one I have liked in about 10 years.

Re: France

I'd be interested to see where France have finished in this last few years. I'll look out the results if someone doesn't beat me to it.
