Netherlands Eurovision Concert April 24th 2010

This is a great opportunity to see what's growing in stature in order to beat the bookies! (Belarus still 3.00 not to qualify and if they don't join the concert, it'll be because they simply can't master those harmonies live)!

The following 17 countries have already confirmed their participation:

I think it's hugely important that Croatia attends. Raising their profile wouldn't be a bad thing as they are still, in my opinion, being overlooked.

This concert will hopefully be streamed live at EscToday and Eurovision.tv (but keep an eye out for new vids on Youtube)

Thats a pretty shocking line up - get France and the UK in there and it would probably be the 19 weakest songs you could think of this year!(im probably omitting a few there mind you...)

Dont think Malta are playing it anymore - said they had spent all their money getting home after being stranded because of the ash so cant afford it now!

Cant imagine it will be streamed, but videos will be up tonight at some point you would think.

Apparently the final UK version - better, thats not saying much mind, still an awful song. He sounds decent.

I always thought he was a good enough singer. That's not the problem - as you say, the song is awful! Bland beyond belief.

Another thing: he's got absolutely no stage prescence (sp?). Looking at the winning national performance he seems intimidated by those hot backing dancers - no wonder, since he's like 19, but still.
