She looks as if she's about to throw up at the beginning. The performance is flawless, but the song is boring for the 1st minute. It's a strong entry and will do well. I'm with Beanie though in preferring Croatia.

Have always had this year down as a female ballad winner, and nothing thats coming out is making me think any different...Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Sweden....take your pick.

Problem for this song is that she cant hit the money notes at the end - closing your eyes and doing a Titanic isn't adequate compensation.

Its all still a bit too Disney too - thats the main reason I've got Croatia ahead as it stands, and the slightly darker side to that song lends it so much more believability.

Only one I've liked so far and I disagree with the Beanster a bit in that I don't think it's 'Disney' at all as opposed to last year's Malta which made me vomit with it's Disneyness. Only drawback on this one for me on first viewing is that she's clearly a fucking weirdo.

I enjoyed this but she's off-putting.

Is she really nervous there maybe? She seems it. And really.... weird. I like her voice though. I think.

edit: fuck it - from what I've heard so far this has to be scribbled down. It's the only quality as yet. Nothing outstanding but I said that about Iceland last year after the first listen then compared it to the rest. Wowsers.

Ooooh, I'm listening to it again already. I like this. I can't work out if I like her though. Is she a bit quirky or just..... not quite right? I like her voice but don't like watching her. Nice wee song. Easy listening sort of thing which usually does not bad. First bit of excitement I've had in here so far (aint heard yer Croatia yet though).

Nope I don't see what this has that the rest of the ballads dont - I had it on the iPod this morning and it's just as dull as the rest, except it cant claim to have a bit of the Molitva-esque moodiness that Croatia can.

This aint my woman Beanie. This chick is "scary weird" rather than... uh... "funny bonkers weird". It's a problem. The song is along the lines of Iceland last year to me though and that country effort by Norway a few years back which was 4th or 5th I think. It's middle of the road stuff and totally inoffensive.

I'll give your Croatia a few more listens (or at least try to get to the end of it) but I'll be surprised if it excites me much. I must have loads still to get through.

Just listen to the songs on the semi final charts with 4 stars or more! Anything less is a waste of time (unless you're a Denmark fan - in which case.... you need help).

And don't think you can put me off by dangling a few Muslims in my face, Gavin! I've listened to Croatia again and this is still miles ahead. I can't even fucking remember how the Croatia song goes already. Something.... mmmm, mmmmm, then... something for the last minute. It has 3 birds singing I think. It might be 4. Singing a song of some kind. With a cello I think?

The only thing Croatia has over this is a non-psycho looking chick.

3/1 Sweden to beat Denmark and Norway @ bwin and yes, Beanie, I'm interested in that. In my opinion it blows both out of the water without breaking sweat. I still have psycho girl to contend with but.... I wouldn't want it to be too easy.

edit: incidentally, who else keeps expecting her to sing 'crack' instead of 'back' (or is it bag? I can't quite make it out) in the opening line?

Couple of others I've watched that have a few worrying wobbles in them although the song she's performing in this seems much more suited to her voice and abilities.
