Re: Germany
Guys, this song will not enter the top 5, this Lena has no experience in this kind of contests and her English isn't so good... Just listen the song live! If this song will win the ESC, I will run naked... THE MOST OVERRATED SONG FROM THE EUROVISION 2010!
And I have nothing with the Germans, but too much publicity for nothing... |

Re: Germany
I'm not saying it's a great bet Mickey, I'm just saying it's a quality pop song and she's a quality pop performer.
It was a cracking bet @ 14/1 , but I've layed off awhile back for a nice profit because gawd knows how it will perform in the ESC. I'm particularly worried about the juries, who were brought in as a counter measure to the bloc and diaspora vote, but could actually stop a country like Germany with no bloc or diaspora vote from winning because they don't get/like her vocal style. We could have a situation where Germany win on the public vote, but the juries hand it to a country like Turkey, Azer or Armenia who start with a huge advantage from the outset. I'd rather back it to be No.1 in the UK at anything approaching double figures, than 100/30 to win this lottery. I wouldn't want to have a big red on it though. |

Re: Germany
Cheers guys.
It was a cracking contemporary pop song and was always going to do well with the public, given how it had been picked up by radio stations all over europe. It was just a matter of whether the juries got behind it too and it seems they must have done. |
