wasn't sweden and slovakia touted on here as good bets and didn't someone else say that they were bad bets
for the record my thoughts after the semis,
none of the long time top 4 favs have impressed,
germany are ok in rehearsals but not as good as expected, so that could mean the winner being a fair price ie greater than 10/1
for me there were 3 stand out performances greece, turkey and the ukraine
denmark could have an advantage being drawn last
but i could be wrong, as it appears i was about norway being a value bet, the rehearsals are ok but not brilliant

My first bet is a bit of a wild stab at Albania finishing in the top 10..odds of 4.50@ bet365 is worth a small punt.

To be fair the Slovakia bets on here were placed months ago and prior to rehearsals, after which most agreed things were going the wrong way. Sweden I'd still not like to speculate, its still too raw...

We are on the same track at the moment - in such an even year the diaspora votes could play a far bigger part than usual...Turkey, Greece(and Armenia) all likely for a top 5 imo. Not discounting Denmark either - its not my cup of tea mind you but there appears to be a lot of 'classic Eurovision' support for it and it has a dream draw with Israel before it.

Ok its only once a year so Ive topped up my Israel bet this time to win (Come on Harel make me rich!) and had an each way investment on Belgium at 33s

I liked the semi one performance and I see him and his guitar picking up a lot of mid range points ie 4-6

Not counting the lines being open all show which is a negative, the best Denmark(or any of the uptempo songs) could have hoped for would be to be beside/after the most downbeat/dark entry which is Israel...for anyone who watches Israel and finds it incredibly slow and dreary, and a lot will, then Denmark will be a perfect kind of antidote straight after.

Didn't really see Denmark as particulary uptempo, but now that I think about it it's reasonably fast.
