Enjoyed that. Hadn't paid attention to the lighting change before at the 'aaaah aaaah aah' which I thought was effective. Still hate those star jump bits but it was mainly rather good. Shame it ends so weak but we can't have everything.

Squall, I don't see how it can't qualify. I can understand the slip, but this has a following of massive proportions. It's a shame Betfred have stopped the multiples.

I'm still not quite sure how they've buggered up with what was always one of the 'nicer' entries. Massively popular in polls and on youtube etc. but when it came to the crunch they just weren't memorable enough for me. And her nerves showed a bit. And there was no 'ooomph' at the key moments. Very disappointing.

total injustice was one of the best on the night really with probly the best lighting and a really nice stage show i never thought there was a chance of this not going through

No, it wasn't at all, which is why a number of us pointed out "in running" that it seemed well off form. The camera angles, lighting and general performance was instantly forgettable (as Mickey proved).

still looked and sounded better to me than most
maybe the camera angles wernt as good as they could of been

I think that's the problem really. It was nice, it was better that a lot, and was safely in most voters' top 10. trouble is people vote for their top 1 or 2, and so it just didn't get enough. Highlights the importance of standing out, whether that be with butterfly wings or whatever!

I doubt it missed out by much tho.

slovakia stood out for the wrong reasons, her singing was weak and the whole performance lacked confidence
contrast that to greece, song quality slovakia wins , no contest
but presentation, performance, confidence the greeks win hands down

I agree with that, ben. All part of the 'oomph' factor. Songs really need to make you feel something.
