Definitely wouldn't make my top 10, pimp. It's bad to me on all levels, including his vocals. It's dreary, dull and rather depressing trying to get to the end. A few people seem to like it though so you shouldn't lose heart.

certainly not as good as earlier rehearsals, may be he will do it on the night but i'm doubtful,
i have bet on him to be top 10 as well as a small win bet both of which are looking decidedly dodgy right now hopefully my bet on belgium being top 10 will save the day

Peculiar...the opening 2 minutes is sooo slow that the only way to carry it is with some sort of dramatic/suspenseful stage show - something very dark/smoky which slowly gets lighter and lighter.
Why they would choose this is baffling and it completely dies. The show at the NF was 10 times better. Can only assume the broadcaster just got the bill for this year and don't fancy another!

sounds like an Irish entry, a bit like a Nordic version of 'you lift me up', then it turns into what sounds like an advert for an airline or Rugby Union world cup theme tune.
Its not a bad song really but i can't see it crossing many eastern or southern European boundaries as its a very western Ballad. I'd have it in my top 10 Mickey but doubt very much it would finish in a Eurovision top 10.

the story about eurovision not making money is a myth, various people/ entrepeneurs in the music industry have offered to take it on and have been turned away
think about, an audience of 125 million plus on the night and all the world rights, if you can't make money out of that you never will

It doesnt make money for the broadcaster that hosts it I can guarantee that, and it doesn't make money for the Big 4 who fork out a reasonable sum every year to keep the thing going.
It probably makes money for someone, but not the host broadcaster.
