So thats a punt on Germany, and savers on France and the UK.

This is a bet with virtually no risk - 20 of the 25 songs qualified to the final from the semis, 18 of them via televotes. The rumours are that the 10th song in the voting in semi 1 was put through, while Sweden got the jury vote in Semi 2(those are just rumours of course.) The wildcard system complicates things slightly, but all those that qualified are easily strong enough to see off some of the entries that gained automatic qualification.

So that leaves Serbia(one of the favourites and no chance of anywhere near last), Spain(which even tho a novelty song will have its audience and get decent support from neighbours) and the above 3.

Uk is dreadful, not a Eurovision song, but the vocal will be good and at the prices I'm not too interested in that one. France is a strong song, which should have a bit of support from certain sections of Europe, but France can count on so few votes from neighbours or elsewhere that they are always in trouble here...that leaves the Germans, a woeful song with woeful vocals - I don't see any reason for this to get votes(unlike the other 2...vocals for UK, song for France) and the Germans have always struggled at Eurovision. Should be much much shorter.

Beanie, just to mention that Germany will get high points from Bulgaria, as I said before one of the singers is from Bulgaria and she's very popular in here at the mo. Maybe not 12 (they will most probably go for Greece), but a decent score and that may be enough for them to finish in front of the UK or the others.

Cheers engineer - didn't know that. Britain will get 10 or 12 points from Malta tho, with another high score from Ireland, and I actually think we might pick up some support elsewhere, if only for the fact that as bad as the song is, its still one of a kind in this and should be vocally very good.

UK is a danger tho, but the saver should come into play there and make it stakes returned

Veteran Eurovision Song Contest commentator Sir Terry Wogan has cast doubt on whether he would be involved in covering the event again.

He said it was "no longer a music contest" and that prospects for Western European participants were "poor".

Sir Terry spoke out near the end of his commentary after Britain's entry Andy Abraham had a disappointing night in the 53rd contest.
The former binman finished joint last of the 25 finalists.

Hmmm. The UK technically finished 25th on 25th on countback as both Poland and Germany had a 10 and a 12 respectively? Yikes!

I dunno how your bookie will grade it as either the UK finishing dead last or treat this as a dead-heat.
