Was just away to Beanie as it sounds like a song that could never make it live. And look at those stats. Bloody hell. Looks like I may want to swerve this then...... I might even still take Germany or UK though such is my hatred for this Spanish entry. I'll probably try all 3 in fact. This is personal.

theres a live version on this thread you weirdo. i think it stands up well, the draw will be important though, if its surrounded by dross itll stand out a country mile

I meant the live rehearsal really - unlike the vid on this thread they are singing the backing track live and it's not sounding like a good decision.

Took me ages to find a live one too. Just listening now and as Gerry Logan hinted at.... his voice is... well, it's different (he's surely gay too) but it's certainly helped by the synths and plinky things and electronic drums and boppity bop. I actually like it still - they've added a few more bits and bobs and beefed up the bass a bit. MILES AHEAD of Spain for me and I think I'll chance it.

I mean its not great but probably still worth a go at larger odds - doubt it will shorten by the off so will hold fire till I see what goes before and after.

I do like his little buggy though. Sets the tone.

It's messier during the rehearsal but I'm still enjoying it. If he performed at my local I think my enthusiasm would see me storm the stage (well, the floor). "Gis a hug ya big hairy weirdo!"

It's a peculiar piece which is usual for the French and the previous voting stats will tell you they or at least their entries, have been pretty despised. And I'm really quite concerned at the fact Spain finish ahead of them every blummin year.

But as I said. This year it's personal. I think I'll be taking it to finish above Spain and won't lose much sleep over it whatever happens.
