Hi KIKO

No- we don't have anyone prepared to cover it yet. I watch a bit of it - and although the United States national side is improving I must say that this league is probably one of the least inspiring to watch.

All players are athletic (without being super quick), skilled (without being able to beat a players) and disciplined. The teams are over coached into a pattern and the harsh heat often reduces games to a slow-slow pace.

I've found that the low scoring draw is a big threat to my picks in this league - so the MLS doesn't appeal to me right now. I've actually turned a few games off - and that's pretty rare that I turn off footie ...

Still if you're winning then you're doing something right mate ... I'll be keen to see your tips.

Not the biggest price in the world but a wins a win.

Done me homework on Valerenga and I knew liverpool would be too strong for a team 15 points behind Ekranes (cork city won 2-0 IN Ekranes last week).

Hi KOMP

1) Yes I'm lounging about in the South Pacific these days - but New Zealand not Australia. I'll be back for the 2006 World Cup.

2) It's 11 hours ahead here - so it's actually early (about 10am Wednesday)

3) No - I was never into betting in the Aussie state leagues. Look mate it's not even semi-pro most of it. If I could ever get my local pub team ( http://www.thearmsfc.com ) to train I'd fancy us to get a couple of results in there ...

Nice set of picks Gooner, especially the Thun AH one. I must check your site more often!

When Kiev popped up with the opener so early I thought my AH bet was on its way to being landed.

Sounds like a good game with Thun goalie having a great game. Decent match report at UEFA.com

And nice double PTDSEI. Valerenga was tighter than I expected though, the 1-0 win didn't help my AH bet.
