Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

Nothing stand out for me from that. What do you think of the all Irish game?

One bet i seen that i liked is the handicap bet in the Liverpool game. TNS +4 goal start is 13/10 with corals at the minute. And you have the draw at 5/1.

Could be a worthwhile bet. I do think Liverpool will win - but hammer them? I dont know.

I'll go find that post IrishTW (I think) made about the all Irish game and paste it in as it was a good one.

I thought it was a bit longer. Interesting all the same:

Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

I've been reading over a few sites looking for some info on the games tonight.
At the moment I think that.....

Sheriff Tiraspol are a decent bet to beat the Maltese side Sliema Wanderers
Rabotnicki to beat Skonto is a value bet
Artmedia to beat Almaty

all are odds on , but a small treble gets my vote

Will try to post later with more details

Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

bet365 have just cut Rabotnicka to EVs from 6/5 ..so that's a positive sign...albeit a little one

the treble is 4/7. Evs and 4/7......a shade under 4/1 your cash...good enough

Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

I tend to take the opposite point of view on the IRISH game i am convinced

Glentoran can beat Shels i know the Belfast team well and they are bloody

hard to beat at home last season in the league their home record was

p 15 w 14 d 0 l 1 f 40 a 8.

as you can see won 14/15 with only 8 goals against all season at home .

They have brought in 3 new players Toland (coleraine ) McCann (portadown)

and Parkhouse (institute)
The Glens have played 3 friendlies including a 1-0 win over T.N.S. who play
liverpool.

I know that the Glens are out to prove they are the true All Ireland champions
not city rivals Linfield who travelled and beat Shels 2-0 in the final 2 months back.

THEgame is on live on RTE 2 and sky 268 chanel 7/4 is much to big
for the home side they will at least get a draw.

Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

Well i'll go with Finn as he does ok on the aussie coupon and i think he knows more about his Irish stuff. Your neck of the woods is it not Finn? Why do i think that? i should get out more.

Sorry to quote Finn from Betting Advice forum-

Quote:
I'LL be helping myself to a chunk of the 2.75 available on Glentoran
some reasons why
1 They are the best team north of the border AND have strenthened their panel.
2 Their manager is Roy Coyle who has won more trophies than any other
north/south of the border
3 They have a strong pool of players with 3 new signings this month.
4 The playing surface at the oval would rival any premier pitch.
5 Coyle knows southern soccer well previously managing Derry City.
6 Shels are out of form at present and lost the Sentana cup to Linfield
2-0 in Dublin were beaten the other week at home by Derry ,Glens are
a better team than these pair in my opinion.

ps I am not a Glentoran supporter but from experience i know how
hard they are to beat at home ,my local team usualy leaves with a cup of tea and a biscuit no points.

Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

I like the idea of Gerrard to score tonight, especially after all thats gone on these last few weeks. With the strikers trading at only 1.60 and the like in the same market I like the 2.50 on offer at Bet365.

A little punt on the big priced Pynuik aswell, as I've been reading some good things about them, and Haka aren't as impressive as they have been in recent seasons(sitting 3rd). Pyunik have won in the first round of the Champs League for the last 3 seasons as well. Worth a little nibble at 5/1.

Re: UEFA Champions Lg Qual: 13th July

Yeah, they beat us 1-0 on friday, I wasnt there but I watched the full game, very poor match and Shels were uninspiring. Dont have a clue who`ll win this one and im not touching it unless something good in-running catches my eye.

No bet

And then 2.5 points on the tie with the +5 handicap at 9/2
