I watched Llanelli last week anticipating a defeat but Dinamo were poor. Llanelli should have scored more , they missed an easy chance towards the end of the match.
With their top striker Griffiths returning their finishing should improve and it will give them a confidence boost.
Llanelli had a poor start to last season due to their injuries with a fully fit squad they were the best team in the league and easily beat Bangor in the Welsh Cup final.
In contrast Bangor were outplayed by Helsinki in the first leg so a defeat was expected in that second leg.

so I'm having that handicap bet on Llanelli+2.25 plus a small bet on Llanelli to win @ 20/1 with bet365

p.s. TNS are a similar price but I can't see them having a chance in that one

Mika Vs Valerenga 2pm K.O 0-1 1st Leg
Both teams are in the middle of there season with Mika in there break period, First match ended 0-1 which is what Mika wanted. Mika have won 1 in there last 5 matches losing the other 4 which isnt the best form. Valerenga have won 2 out of there last 5 matches with all but two of those going over 2.5. Valerenga played on Sunday against Tromso and after going 1-0 up in the 1st minute they got thrashed 4-1.

Mika in there last 5 games at home have been LLWLW the three losses coming to the sides above them in the table which they sit 4th in. Before that they were unbeaten in there other 4 matches at home this season and kept 3 clean sheets with in that time. In Europa League at home they are unbeaten in there last 4 matches drawing 2 and winning the other 2.

Valerenga last 5 away have been LWWDL before that they lost 5 of there 6 away matches the win being a 12-1 away in the cup to Oldenborg equivalent to a non league side over here say Dover. Valerenga in there 12 away games this season they have conceded in 9 of those matches. In the Europa League they have played 10 away matches and won only twice, one against PAOK back in 2009 and the other against Flora Tallin both 1-0 wins.

I quite like Dundee Utd @ 11/10 with Coral to win tonight though. Sounded like they should have grabbed a result in the 1st leg and it also sounded like their opponents aren't particularly good. I expect Utd to put away a few chances tonight on their own turf. Well enough to win the game. Maybe. Ish.

I'm with you Mickey. First bet of the "new" football season and it feels good. Like a big deep breath of stale cigar smoke.

I traditionally win the first bet of the season and so did my father, his father and his father before him. In fact, it's a bit of a local tradition around our way that all the poor families gather up all of their belongings, pawn them and put every penny that they get on the ODM family's first selection of the new season so that they have something to eat in the winter out of the winnings.

This year all my town will be hoping that your dead cert' does us proud Mickey (well, I say "all" but I suppose I should exclude Mr Sprocket the Undertaker.
