Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

First Legs Komp, initial thoughts are that Lisbon look big against an Athletico side that is constantly overrated, they do turn it on for the bigger games though..

Fulham 7.5!? Not sure about that..they coped fairly comfortably with a very attack minded Shakhtar side in the last round, Juve arent all that are they..double chance on Fulham is 2.5, could prob do worse than have a punt on that..certainly wouldnt bank on Juve winning that, Fulham are being priced on their name rather than their abilities..

Benfica are a very strong home side and evens appeals a bit but i havent watched Marseille this season so would be betting blind..

Just a few thoughts there anyhow, might have a few small bets as there appears to be a bit of value in those prices...

Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

what sort of side will the scousers put out tomorrow?
lille are supposed to be half decent arent they?
they(liverpool) are being priced up on the liverpool name again by the looks of it, could pay to have a few quid on lille and then further bets inrunning if it looks promising for the home win

Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

Few toughts from me:

PAO will rotate squad against Standard so i would be carefull with hw.Also their first keeper is injured. For Standard lb Pocognoli is suspended.Maybe Standard to score.Maybe even Jova to score?

Valencia will go for the win against Bremen but their defence is not good so maybe both to score or over.

Lille DNB i like as Loserpool is crap this year.Gerard dont play good and Lilles coach said they will go for a win.I think its possible.

Benfica is good home team and i dont understand Marseille. One game they play great next ther are crap.Hw is possible.

I dont like Atletico M at all but i cant take Lisbon away from home.

Juve should win but dont like the odds.

I watched Hamburg few times, good ofence weak defence.Lukaku is fit for Anderlecht and they had few great games in Europa League so everything is possible.

Dont know about Rubin much,it will be cold weather(below zero) and not great pitch.Rubin have one or two important players out and Grafite,Barzagli and Benaglio should be out for Wolfsburg.Dzeko should play along with Martins.

Wolfsburg in amazing form at the moment should beat Rubin Kazan in the European League. This is Wolfsburgs only chance to win some silver ware this season. Best odds is 1.85 with Interwetten.  Click here to bet Wolfsburg @ 1.85 with Interwetten

Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

Bloody hell, not getting far here are we! ..think i'll prob go for Benfica -1AH @2.7 and Fulham double chance..weather is bloody awful over there and that normally means a scrappier game on a pitch that they havent yet trained on due to fears that it will cut up badly..goals will prob be at a premium anyway.., nope forget the double chance im going for under 2.5 at 1.8..small stakes double @ 5.18..

Backing Benfica tonight. They are likely to be at full strength and have an excellent home record, scoring 36 goals in 10 home league games and 17 at home in this season's Europa League. Marseille are a strong team in good form but Benfica will look to take an advantage into the 2nd leg in France.

Juventus vs Fulham

Although Juventus are perform not well in this season, they are still capable to maintain the top 5 in domestic league. The Old Lady did a good job last week by defeated Viola when visit. The right moment victory should give the team a boost especially they play under the supports of home fans today.

Visitor Fulham does not convince me with their away performance. They are one of the best when playing at Craven Cottage stadium but nothing impress out of it.

Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

Odds on Valencia and Werder are great around 1.7.
Both teams score goals almost everytime they play, Werder scores allot in Germany league. Today Valencia will be missing they first team central defender and this can only give me value that Werder will score, but even bookies agree that Valencia should win, so 2-1 is a decent score that makes this bet over, but i would not be suprised if it finish 1-2 or even 3-0, both of this teams have huge power up front and goals could be scored, unles valencia will calculate, but that info i dont have.

Any thoughts on the Hamburg game anyone? I am in two minds of either a draw or home win.

Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

Juvy and Panathinikos for me. Fulham have done well but I think Juvy will be just a step too far - not saying the will not qualify but I dont think they'll get a result tonight. Panathinikos done very well last round to beat Roma and Liege aren't the force they used to be. Again I'm not saying Liege wont progress but I feel they'll leave Greece with no points

I think if i had to pick one side to win tonight it would be Benfica, Marseille as you say are in good form though and it wouldnt be a huge shock if they nicked a draw..tough set of fixtures cerainly wouldnt advise large stakes, good luck..

That Fernando Torres is great isn't he? Actually, I say that but it's the first time I've ever watched this particular type of game. I assume the aim of the game is to run as fast as you can to the edge of the opponents 18 yard box and then lie down on the floor.

Re: Europa League: 11 Mar

Remember the other year when Rangers played dire football all the way through the competition and lost in the final?

I'm seeing deja vu this season. Liverpool to be beaten finalists - you heard it here first.
