Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
I see Juventus have been installed as favourites on the back of a shocking champions league campaign, and in their own league 3 of the 4 away wins have come against teams in the bottom 5,Ajax 1X is a possible for me.
PSV odds grab the eye seeing as they top their group without losing a match. |

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
PSV was the one that caught my eye too, basher. Hamburg struck me as being ordinary when I saw them twice against Celtic. Celtic grabbed a 0-0 draw there too (and could easily have won from what I remember). PSV has to be a definite X2 shout I think although it's very early days.

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
Nice to see you agree with me on PSV,Mick, whats wrong with Ajax Mick, could be a very nice double?
Swoops, your right about Liverpool, but the opposition they face dont have good credientials to beat the poorest of Liverpool sides, the romanians themselves failed to qualify in a group with Rangers and Stuggart, the germans have had a shocking season in the Bundesliga 4th bottom beat the Romanians 3-1,think the away win would be a shock result, but like you say them odds are massive. |

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
No idea about either Ajax or Juventus, basher. I happend to see Hamburg against Celtic and wasn't impressed so opposing them wouldn't scare me much (gulp).
And I'd be bloody gobsmacked if Unirea Urziceni won at Anfield but I wouldn't be all that shocked if they battled to a draw or narrow defeat. As I said, they don't look a great side but definitely have battling qualities, good organisation and a goal or two in them. Birmingham managed to get something there and they're rubbish too! (hiya broms! )

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
ha ha,no bite on this occasion mp!
we are ordinary but very well organised and hard to beat, liverpool struggled to create a decent chance against the mighty reading with their best team so wouldnt touch them with a bargepole against some of europes decent sides |

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
Believe it or not I was writing through the night
Not something I normally do but I didnt have any time offbar the basics so booked the first monday back. Followed it with tuesday & next monday as well. The temptation of having Pakistan going 200 clear of the Aussies on in the background on silent when theyve lost the last 10 against them did keep me awake. I was thinking there might be some value on Australia & was looning for about 16s.....Bet365 are offering 3s

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10
Juventus only managed two wins in their champions league group Mick, and they were both against Maccabi Haifa 1-0 home and away, they got Trezguet upfront and Del Piero, but their squad isnt that great a still full of old legs.
