i will be looking at villarreal to win the cup outright if i can get a decent price, they are a quality side imo, coming into some form at last
They are a good shout broms, couldnt get anything going in the early part of the season but looking very decent now, have to take notice of any side that get a point in the nou camp (first team to do it this season)..

Yeah we do, the youth systems being rebuilt the last few years and we ran 3 or 4 youth sides last year & I think one was under 11. Reason I'm a little vague is that you tend to have a group stick together which obviously means that team goes through, ie u-11s, 12s, 13 etc. We didnt have an under 16s lasst season for eg but that doesnt mean we wouldnt this year type thing.
Its the age old question really, we're surrounded by town clubs. ie Broms, redditch, south brum clubs, barnt green (village but town size club) All depends if you feel you get more attention at the bigger or smaller club

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10

Anderlecht isn't a good team to back away in Europe. Bilbao at home is a fierce force (pardon me if they aren't doing it so consistently anymore). but with the pride of European glories, they will do everything they can to achieve all 3 points.

I believe it is 3 points in the bag.

Atletico Bilbao at home look too strong for Anderlect from the weak Belgian league. 1.8 for home win offered by 888sport looks like clear value.  Click here to bet Bilbao at 1.8 with 888sport and get your £50 sign up bonus

They always do! and They always fail to live to the given reputation most of the time to say the least.

I don't know anything about this league but i can spot odds that might be out of line. Lets have a look....

Only thing really is Liverpool ht/ft. 4/7 with Ladbrokes but you can get 10/11 with Paddy Power.

Marseille evens in places but 5/4 with Blue Square

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10

everton should be well up for this , a chance for a possible trophy, think they will beat a very average sporting lisbon comfortably.
lille are on fire in the french league, evens to beat fenerbache?
benfica another side in form away at hertha berlin look possibles
lastly athletico madrid can be anything from shocking to exhilarating, should be goals against galatassaray

Yellow Submarine (villarreal) are going ok at home (w7, d3, l2) and are 10/11 to win against an under performing Wolfsburg (w3, d5, l3).

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10

Benfica being backed in all round. Still even money generally available.

What about an early winner in Rubnin Kazan ht/ft at even money?

Lille odds coming in.

No one fancy twente enschede? Their doing well in Holland this season are they not? 9/4 at home looks a big price to my untrained eye.

I'll read up and see if anyone has mentioned Fulham. Theyre ok at home arent they? sort of game i can see them winning.

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10

hertha berlin - benfica

i will have to take benfica to win this one they will never have a better chance but mainly this is a bet against hertha who are bottom of the bundesliga adrift by 7 points and have a massive game against freiburg on sunday-they have scored 8 goals at home and have not won for over a month-the manager has being talking about resting players with sunday in mind and gekas the greek striker has been criticizing the managers tactics also the fans are staying away as attendances are starting to fall.benfica come here in terrific form a team full of goals and who can concentrate fully on this match as they have no game at the weekend-the minuses are the freezing conditions and the defensive tactics that hertha will probably adopt but i think this benfica side are going to score and take a lead back to the stadium of light-they will never have a better chance

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10

Can't see Fulham getting anything today. Shakhtar is, how to say this,a team miles away from mediocre Fulham squad, they are in preparation period but still consider them as better team, and Fulham is concetrated on PL,aren't they?
And small addition to the game http://www.football.co.uk/fulham/ful...ss436802.shtml

Re: Europa League: 18/2/10

I'm still going to have a small, unenthusiastic, can't be arsed typing this, interest in the Liverpool v Unirea Urziceni match based on what I saw of the Romanians in the Champions League but I'm going the old 'both teams to score' route @ 2.15 with unibet - pretty pishy really (as is the Unirea +1.5 @ 2.05 bet365) and probably not worth the hassle but I think Unirea will at least give it a go (40 yarder in the last minute!). They only failed to score in one of their Champions League games (2-0 defeat at Sevilla).

I don't think they're too bad at the back (I'm guessing everyone behind the ball and hitting on the break) but I'll be gobsmacked if Liverpool don't score. So.. errrr.... that eez all. May my tits be forever down.
