yeah the celtic bet was ok id of rather seen them win tbh rather than me getting lucky with my thoughts.

i honestly think once they get the win, then start smacking em away cos then the rub will start going their way. but i really would not risk any cash on them, only against them cos until theyve won, the pyschological bit will always bite them,

should of beat villareal could of beat barca should have beat aalborg the list is endless unfortunately but there has to be a certain factor that is repeating itself if weve found that then surely this bet will always be a goldmine just up until it changes.

ummm marseille thats a massive price ive not even looked at the form or stats just done the double with bremen so now to find out how bad i am at picking silly priced winners.

gerrard is one of the reasons im picking this hes expected to play according to the uefa website or at least rafa says hes fit but hes been carrying a groin injury so he may just be a bit mindful of that plus he may decide not to play to give the team a chance to prove they can play without him (i do so hope this happens) ,

i know marseille can overtake liverpool but thats why your getting this price i reckon, liverpool would have to go to psv and lose with atletico losing in france no way the liverpool players know that is not going to happen and this could then be represented in the way they play, marseille will have a fair amount of confidence and rightly so going to anfield they won one nil at about the same odds i presume last year then in the uefa cup where they held liverpool 1-1 about 5 years ago,

marseille played ok against lille snatching a 90th minute equaliser(the bastads) they never gave up they kept fighting a real test for them before they attempt an ambitious attempt at qualifying if they can work their bs off then they might just sneak it they have a few injuries but their players should give 110% whoever is playing i dont think this game will be about skill just who wants it most, and imo proving the price is incorrect this will all be for nothing thou if liverpool get the first goal it could then become a hiding for marseille but i just cant see past it being a draw at the very worst maybe get on in the asian handicap market:groucho

I agree with most people about Werder Bremen aswell, they have to beat Anorthosis and looking at the two squads they should.

I've done it, Barca, Shakhtar, Athletico Treble. I had a re-think about Werder and looked at the tables I think Anorthosis are probably being underrated, I certainly didn't know much about them before they qualified for CL. They might beat Werder but I just decided to stay away from that one

I was rambling on about how th 2 champions league nights seem to be like ying and yang Betfly and how maybe its better to go the other way from the night before. it was all in the realms of magical fantasy. I wouldn have done an acca though Betfly to quench your curiosity. 10 from 5 trebles would have been a far more rewarding experience imo.

ah hah hah hah ODM. Thats what i said on the Northern Ireland thread a while back and i was lambasted for suggesting that people should be encouraged to unominate people if things go tits up. I aint bothered now and never meant anything by mentining it again here but you can guarantee if marseille dont give liverpool a hell of a game i will be takign my vote back
