Re: 25-26th November Champions league

bit worried about buffon not playing theyre reserve keepers are alex manninger and chimenti chimenti has played 3 games last season, he went to cagliari 06-07 where he was playing for cagliari who finished 16th actually this now irrelevant just read this

Home and dry
Visitors Juventus, already assured of a place in the knockout stages after successive victories against Madrid, will be weakened by the absence of seven first-team players. "Of course, I don't have a lot of options but I've chosen the best available players for the trip to St Petersburg," said Juve coach Claudio Ranieri, for whom Gianluigi Buffon, David Trezeguet, Jonathan Zebina, Dario Knežević, Cristiano Zanetti, Christian Poulsen and Tiago are all out injured. "I'll decide the squad after training and you'll all see who's in on the night," added Ranieri when quizzed about Del Pierothe four-goal joint-leading scorer in the competition.

my bets changed i think to juve win ht only purely cos they may not be as fit as zenit but should definitely start well, this new squad will still want to prove themselves as its not too often they will get to play on this stage (apart from the next game as well obviously)

so if you now dont want to bet on juve, could well be worth watching them anyway to get an idea of the next game at home to bate)

possible bets

juve win ht

juve win ht draw ft
juve win ht lose ft

I'm backing Juve tonight. I think they'll be too strong for a Zenit side who have often flattered to decieve.

With the goalkeeper situation, of course, neither Chimenti or Manninger are as good as Buffon, but both are very capable, with Chimenti being the solid bet and Manninger being the solid, but very eccentric choice.

They have enough fire power, with Del Piero, Amauri and Iaquinta. Couple those with the likes of Giovinco, Salihamidzic, Camoranesi and Nedved and you have a very threatening attack. The likes of Mellberg and Chilieni will want to get forward for set pieces and also pose a threat. I personally don't think that the loss of Trezeguet is a big deal.

I think the price of 16/5 is just too big, even with Juve missing a few players. Zenit have been too inconsistent this season. If they play like they played against Manchester United in the Super Cup, then it could be tasty, but if they play their distinctly average league form, then Juventus should have little problems; especially if they play like they did at the Bernabeu.

Away win.

Re: 25-26th November Champions league

Celtic cannot keep going without a win away from home. I'm not saying they will win this week but the trend has to get broken sometime and on paper this weems to be there best chance. They need to win to have any chance of qualifying for the group stages of the Champs League (need Man Utd to beat Villarreal as well mind) but it would also stand them in good stead for parachuting into the UEFA cup - so in a nutshell this is Celtic first Cup Final of the season with a potetial to earn ££££££

In the SPL they've had a few 'fortunate' decisions and I have saw them play better football than they are doing but depending on team news I may back them to come good. Don't even know the price of them but it must be around 6/4 ??

Tempting

Re: 25-26th November Champions league

flip a coin it lands 50 50 yes now flip celtics coin id want at least 10/1 to back celtic yes i agree they do have to break the run totally and obviously but to risk my cash on them when they have never done it before is just a purely hopeful bet aalborgs form of late is just a little too hard to ignore especially as they held celtic at hampden at the start of a poor run themselves

at the start of aalborgs season out of the first 10 games they played they only lost to the current 1st & 3rd in their league, a few euro qualifiers in those so nothing too astounding but solid nonetheless, they then went on a 9 game run where they only managed to beat one team a lower league team in the cup,
wow then in their last 7 games 8 if you include the draw with randers, they beat another lower league team in the cup just 0-1 the next three games involved the 1st & 3rd placed teams again and villareal they drew all three, 2 at home, they have since won their next three games against average opposition 1 at home 2 away

celtic might win i understand that just the same as i understand nothing about celtics inept failure & ability to be able to play away
it would seem a little risky to want to take a bet like celtic when their are so many other games on im not trying to point you off a winning bet but what odds are you gettin totally your choice im sure theres an argument for celtic just look at the stats drawn 1 against barca now thats a good start but then lost 15 i always thought they posted a win column up when you study form these fuckin internet sites their never right

i now fancy celtic to lose after all that looking

Re: 25-26th November Champions league

i'm on the 13/10 with ladbrokes

As mentioned earlier this is their cup final and the ball is in their own court - one good performance and its the potential to change their season. strachan will no doubt have them hyped up and on that basis alone i'm willing to side with them. they have individuals who can turn games into winning ones and if they play as a team and all give 110% then they will win (imo)

Away win 13/10 - I need to be more disciplined but C'MON

Re: 25-26th November Champions league

ive backed more goals in the first half no i havent ive done aalborg to win ht ft just read celtics team news mcgeady is going to play although hes been injured for the last 5 gamse fantastico and hesselink has decided he wants a kickabout after not playing for a few weeks they are even going to change the formation that got them a really good looking loss away to villareal hesselink and mcgeady not match fit, the only way celtic r going to win this is by scoring more goals than aalborg but where are they going to score them from i think definitely more goals in the first half as well as aalborg ht ft celtic dont normally play too well in the first half and if they go behind i just cant see em scoring, every away game has been a cup final for celtic since about what the 7th 8th game of this mental losing streak sometimes people try to complicate things with emotion not what is actually happening,
celtic are going to walk out on that pitch knowing every other team before them has lost, the reason all the commentators talk about confidence is because of the chemical release that we get when we complete something correctly that we have imagined or thought of, our brain controls our muscles to make you miss or lose, so that our brain then rewards our bodies by the releaase of dopamine into our system making us actually feel good just because we thought it how annoying is that, think you are going to miss a shot in pool how many times do you pot it hardly ever, once you think that you will miss it your body will do the rest dont worry another good example are penalties have a look at the players body language if its not positive they nearly always miss,

just another way of reading it kegman thats all my cash is on aalborg thats all but i have been wrong before as i just checked my bank balance lol good luck whatever you choose

my other pics tonight are bayern score 1st 27 mins liverpool scor 1st 27 mins juve win ht

Re: 25-26th November Champions league

KegBET365 have Tic @ 6/4

Not sure if i can share your enthusiam.

Agree with alot of your points but the away record & points DD makes about players being out etc

I'm on HT Draw @ 11/10 as I think this will be cagey game. ko temp is about -6 so not sure if this will affect tempo of game.

Also feel in run bets might be way to go to gauge how well or otherwise celtic are playing.

Since they dumped Rioch Aalberg have had a good run.

I'm hoping for away win though

Juventus have named an extremely strong line-up, 3/1 must be looked at.
