Group A: CHELSEA, AS Roma, Bordeaux, Cluj

(Who the fuck are Cluj by the way?. Sounds like something a Scotsman would plull out of his plughole.

Group B: Inter, Werder, Panathinaikos, Anorthosis

Group C: Barcelona, Sporting, FC Basel, Shakhtar

Group D: LIVERPOOL, PSV, Marseille, Atletico

Group E: MAN UTD, Villarreal, CELTIC, Aalborg

Group F: Lyon, Bayern, Steaua, Fiorentina

Group G: ARSENAL, FC Porto, Fenerbahce, Dinamo Kiev

Group H: Real Madrid, Juventus, Zenit, Bate

Celtic have already proven they can beat Man Utd but it will still be hard for them to progress

Liverpool could have gotten an easier group, Arsenal will qualify easy enough, Group F with Lyon, Bayern, Steaua and Fiorentina looks a cracker, Chelsea should also do it, Barca to piss their group and the others can fend for themselves

I might have a look at what the odds are on an Italian team winning it are when the dust settles, with a view to laying some back later in the competition.

Anyway, good luck to Cluj there's no doubt they will pick up a few surprise points as these Champions League groups never work out exactly as planned.

Such a stupid statement. Do you not remember what happened last time when Celtic and Man Utd were in the same CL group. Celtic were beat 3-2 at Old Trafford and won 1-0 at Parkhead. Also Celtics record at home is second to none and the Celts once again have a great chance of getting out of their group.

Yes, they failed to pick up a single point away from home, limped out of the group stage and got knocked out in the first knockout stage.

I'm not talking about individual teams bash, just nationality of the winners. If they get three teams through the qualifying stages and get a kind draw or two the price will have to drop you would think.

it actually was they got knocked out in the last 16 1-0 to Ac Milan after extra time :groucho defended like dogs for the most part of it though.

However Celtics away form is absolutely pathetic but Celtic wont drop many points at home.

I'm not sure how strong Villareal are this season either. Maybe RCGills will fill us in on that. Hopefully it will be an English/Scottish 1 -2 and onwards to the next stage but I can see Celtic coming unstuck to be honest.
